The museum is worth a visit. It's small but has lots of personality from the displays to the staff and owners! You learn about and see the world of tattoos. Free but worthy of a donation.

I spent the weekend up in Fort Bragg with the family. We decided to check out the local sights and it was fun. The Triangle Tattoo Museum is filled with skin art enthusiast stuff. I was not let down. Its a good spot to check out. Definitely do not make a trip just for this spot, unless your within a 20min range.. or you need to check it off your bucket list..

Quirky, free place with everything you ever didn't realize you wanted to know about tattooing. Madame Chinchilla was there for our visit and is an experience in itself. You are invited to watch a tattooing during your visit. Trip to the 60's and beyond. Give yourself 10 minutes and leave or stay for an hour, but go!

If you are a member of the tattoo tribe, or just interested in tattoo culture and history, this is well worth a quick visit. Comprising a few small rooms adjoining a tattoo parlor, the displays include everything from articles to historic artifacts, and from artwork to modern tools. Be aware that the spaces are small, so if you go with a group you'll be very crowded.

We were walking down the main street and I remembered seeing this place mentioned on Trip Advisor, so we decided to stop in. It ended up being my 7 yr old's second favorite visit after Glass Beach which is saying quite a lot.

We ended up having an absolutely fascinating time thanks to Scott, one of the artists. Scott spent a copious amount of time patiently and expertly answering my child's 1008 questions. He walked us all around, showed us various interesting photos and gave us a fascinating cultural and historical lesson. We were both engaged and absorbed.

This is a great little find, I could have stayed for hours reading all the interesting articles and postings throughout. It is a thoughtful and fascinating walk through. And thank you again to Scott who went above and beyond anything that he actually needed to do. We will definitely go visit again.
