The gardens are well-cared for and diverse. When we visited, the dahlias were in bloom and brilliantly colorful. We overheard one of the other visitors mention that every time you come, you see something different. Don't expect that if you visit, everything will constantly be in bloom -- nature doesn't work that way :)
Lowlights: The price of $14 for adults was a tad higher than I would have expected for general pricing in this region being generally lower than the Bay Area, but overall, it was worth it. Additionally, I wasn't thrilled that dogs were allowed on the premises. We saw one urinating all over a beautiful bush in bloom and it made us wary of smelling some flowers closer to the ground!
