“Disappointing”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Did not see any glass but that could have been because the beach has been stripped clean, There is a sign not to pick the glass up but was being completely ignored by children with their sand buckets combing the area - very sad parenting.

“I traveled how far for what? Okay I'll be fair”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

First... no signs on the main road, so had to stop and ask where is was (no problem, everyone knows the place). That said, parked on a nice residential road, then walked about a half mile to the beach. Walked up and down for some time and the smell was so intense (really can't even describe it).. just a stench of maybe seaweed, fish, mold, and dog do do...). in any case, the place is very picked over and a fair amount of visitors there (about 60-70 coming and going).... only very small particles of smooth glass of mostly white. If you are going for that (go anywhere else). If you are going for a nice drive on highway 1, and need to stop and stretch, it has nice views, and you can say you have been there. I am sure years (and years) ago it was probably awesome.

“Glass Everywhere”
Reviewed September 1, 2013 via mobile

I don't know how anyone can't find glass here. It's everywhere. Literally. Big pieces of blue, red, etc are hard to find of course, but there's so much brown, green, and white's that it's hard to comprehend. The beach was extremely crowded being Labor Day Weekend and it kind of made it annoying but we still had a blast. Beautiful area!

“Less than we expected”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

this was a difficult place to access - the bluffs were eroded and steep to climb down. Once on the beach the glass was somehow not so sparkling as we expected. I wanted badly to see it, so we did go and walk around, but it wasn't better than other more secluded beach areas.
