I really enjoyed our stay at the Cottage, from the pet-friendly touches like a dog bed, treats, and such to make our pups feel at home to the cozy atmosphere and friendly service. There is a small yard area in the middle of the parking lot that was well maintained and provided with potty bags, scooper, garbage, etc for pet needs but I enjoyed that they also had an area in the back of the property where I was able to walk my pups a bit off the leash (we were the only ones out there), so they could burn off a little energy.
The Cottage was very clean and well maintained. I guess if there was anything that I would say is a negative would be that we could hear the water in our neighbors rooms (so I assume they could hear us too). But the walls weren't so thin that I could hear them talk/tv/etc.
Our "Family Room for 4", #9, was stocked with a small kitchenette including dishes, microwave and mini-fridge. We had 2 very comfortable queen beds and a small table with 2 chairs inside and another small table with 2 chairs outside our door.
I would recommend this to others that know the area and don't mind driving just a minute or two to a near by beach. We are familiar with the area and know beaches we like, so we did not try the beach they suggest on their website. We did find out that the beach at Noyo Harbor is also pet-friendly and enjoyed a sunset with our pups there.
If you are not familiar with the area, the person that checked me in was more than willing and knowledgeable to share information about the area. I would definitely stay again!

Room tip: We had a hard time finding at first, but look for the "Hidden Pines Campground" sign. The entrance to the Cottages is right next to the sign.

Had the best time staying here! The cottages are across from one of the most beautiful, secluded beaches I've ever been to. The weather was great so we had a picnic on the beach. Very relaxing. The staff was really friendly and gave us some great suggestions in the way of restaurants/things to do on a weekend/at night. Everything was very clean and comfortable.

Recently stayed in the Surf Suite at Shoreline. We couldn't have been more pleased; we slept great, we napped in the sun on the private deck, we played horseshoes on the property, and most of all we relaxed. Love the location, we revisited all our favorite beaches and even found a new one less than a 5 minute walk from Shoreline. Regretfully, we did not use the hot tub or the wonderful fire pit, but it was great to know it was there! Thank you and we will be back.

We used to stay in Mendocino but thought we would try a change. I found this place on an internet search. Thanks to all the those who took the time to review the Shoreline Cottages.

Last minute decision to go this weekend. We pulled up to the property and liked what we saw immediately. The grounds are well-kept and the cottages are bright and clean on the outside. I spoke with Kim, the Manager, who was extremely helpful in answering my many questions regarding the area. Thanks for the tip on the Mendo Bistro!

The interior of the cottage was very clean and smelled clean (fresh, not antiseptic) as well. I was very pleased since you can't always be sure with a pet friendly property. Good night's sleep on a comfy bed and very little noise from Shoreline Hwy. I would suggest staying in one of the cottages further from the road if you are a VERY light sleeper. Just ask for that when you call to reserve a room. We never heard our "neighbors" in the other cottages and suites.

We took our two dogs with us and they approved of the treats they found in the room upon arrival. They also liked the "play" area at the rear of the property. Our every need was met and our every question answered by Kim in addition to being fairly priced. All that and pet friendly!

Almost forgot to mention, they have an excellent Wi-Fi signal. We will be back again.

Room tip: Ask at the desk for dining suggestions.
