The single reason we chose this B&B was because of Diana's kind and courteous first impression on the phone, and believe me, I talked to many in-keepers in trying to plan our weekend. Diana and Allan owners of the Case Ranch Inn, made our stay in the wine country a memorable one. The hospitality, accomodations and care given to details were just what we were looking for. The Inn is beautifully furnished in antiques and new pieces hand made by Allan from reclaimed wood that was recovered during the property's extensive renovation. It is clear that they love sharing their home with their guests, which makes the guests feel abundantly comfortable and welcome. Our room was spacious enough for morning yoga, and cozy enough to relax in in the evening with a glass of port or a cup of coffee, (did I mention that Diana's addictive chocolate chip cookies?)after wonderful days filled with exquisite food and wine and green rolling hills. The food, the exact mix of privacy and chats with other guests over organic breakfasts (with berries grown on the property!) are a welcome change from impersonal hotel stays. Diana made several reservations for us and made it easy for us to find anything we were looking for in wineries and restaurants. We look forward to going back with friends ---and we hope---often!

My wife, Melody, and I recently enjoyed a two night stay in the honeymoon cottage at the Case Ranch Inn in the beautiful Russian River Valley town of Forestville, CA. We selected this inn because of positive reviews from this site, a very nice website of the inn and of the quick and helpful response of the proprieters Diana Van Ry and Allan Tilton, via phone and e-mail conversation. It was all that we had hoped for, a quite and peaceful stay in a beautifuly restored two story farm house with cottage and magnificent landscaping. The cottage was tastefully decorated and spacious, complete with kitchenette and nice big shower in the bath. We were the only guests at the time and Diana made us feel like old friends, we felt very comfortable. At my request early in the planning stages, Diana made dinner reservations at the Rivers End restaurant for our first night and in room massages for the second night, both were very enjoyable, (along with the private hot tub). Diana's mastery in the kitchen was evident at the wonderful breakfasts she prepared for just the two of us. The rest of the days were spent visiting winerys, siteseeing and just plain relaxing on the deck under big shade trees. We give this inn a five star, thumbs up rating

The Case Ranch Inn isn't a place, it is the sum of an experience. We were welcomed with home made cookies, sparkling clean rooms, luxuriant beds and yummy, comfy mattresses. Diana & Allan have thought of every single detail to make guests feel cared for and cherished. We stayed in the guest cottage with a private hot tub on the porch, a shared deck with tables and seating, surrounded by lovingly tended roses, herb gardens and a hobby vineyard. Diana asks for any dietary restrictions in advance and then customizes her exquisite breakfast menus around her guests. This is no "muffins and coffee on the run" breakfast, either. Diana hand makes everything from scratch with home grown produce and serves it "just so" with linen and roses on the tables. All in all, staying at the Case Ranch Inn is like going home again - if your home was incredibly gracious and filled with love. We miss it!

Two nights at the Case Ranch Inn was not enough! Having spent two very busy days in the Sonoma Valley area, (sightseeing, wine tasting, going on a hot air balloon ride, and watching the sun set over Bodega Bay), returning to the Garden Cottage for a relaxing hot tub soak and listening to the peaceful sounds of the wildlife in Diana's beautiful garden was the perfect way to end a perfect day. We highly recommend the Case Ranch Inn. Diana is a gracious hostess, an excellent cook and chock full of ideas on how to make the most of one's time in the area. The Garden Cottage is beautiful, very peaceful, private and romantic. We even had the opportunity to take a peek at all of the the other rooms and each one was as beautiful as the next. Thank you Diana for the wonderful time.

Case Ranch is a a wonderful little B&B. Off the beaten path. Diana and Allen are great hosts. Rooms are very comfortable. Equipped with a small fridge. It was a nice treat to have chilled bottled water waiting for you. They did an excellent job of setting up boutique winery tours. Would highly recommend visiting Sunce and Harvest Moon.

We have been going to B&B's for over 25 years now and it seems that the ammenities and quality of these establishments has deteriorated, yet the price to stay has escalated out of sight. The Case Ranch Inn has reversed this trend in our estimation. From home made cookies in the afternoon to the most comfy beds and a delicious full breakfast, we were so happy to have our faith restored and for a reasonable fee. We will definitely return!
