Owner description: Stand Up Paddleboard Sonoma County, Whitewater Rafting. Rubicon Adventures believes in direct passenger participation in the river adventure. River trips are a great fun way to access wilderness and to teach and challenge you with a new experience. Anyone in reasonably good physical condition will enjoy a whitewater voyage. There is very little "hard" work, especially when many hands are involved. We offer whitewater rafting trips on the American River, Trinity River, Eel River and Cache Creek.New for 2012:Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP)trips on the Russian River. Introduction: Paddle Board 101. “Experience counts!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

I have enjoyed many river trips with Rubicon and never had a negative one. Bill Mashek and his guides are top-notch and know what they are doing. Enjoyment is intrinsic, emphasized, and safety paramount. The extra attention to details is immediately apparent during the initial "safety talk" covering the important aspects of whitewater rafting. The "river food" is high quality, gourmet, and always fresh.
Although Rubicon has not had a "Wine and Whitewater" event for some time it would be welcomed by all. This is an event to catch when it comes around.
You will enjoy the personal attention afforded by Rubicon. A good time is had by all.

“Rubicon = Fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

My first ever rafting experience was with Rubicon Whitewater Adventures. I had no idea what to expect when I rolled up. From that moment on, Bill and his crew made this rookie feel right at home. With over 30 years of rafting, if they haven't seen it, it hasn't happened. With a belly full of excellent food, I fell asleep listening to the river roar by, waiting for the next days adventure.

“What fun!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

This is an opportunity for a river experience that will be a personal transformation! Reminiscence of early river runners and devoid of all the hype. This is a true crossing of the Rubicon! You will never want to follow the main road again! Safe fun, kids are loved! And empowered!

“South fork American River with Rubicon Whitewater Adventures”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

We rafted with Rubicon Whitewater Adventures www.rubiconadventures.com they are a small family run company. Both the father and his son were on our trip. The guides are older and much more experienced than than most of the kids you see on the river. Our group was small only 12 of us total. Unlike some the big companies that herd you down the river like cattle. The food was excellent. We had a wonderful dinner and they really made us feel like part of their rafting family. I would highly recommend them especially for family trlps or groups of friends.
