If you want a fresh air or get away from the city, you could visit this Colmar Tropicale - where you could enjoy replica of French Village and japanese garden. You could go by using shuttle or car from the city. It's a replica so don't expect too much. There's only a few building inside the gate but it's beautiful. There's also a shuttle bus for visitor to go between the French Village and Japanese garden

Lovely place and good concept, but the management is quite dishonest and treats visitors as cash cows, not guests. In the rooms, there are 2 bottles of water. In every hotel I've ever stayed in, they would be complimentary (even motels and backpacker hostels), but upon checkout, Colmar charges you RM8 for them. In every restaurant and cafe in Colmar, plain water will be RM5. When you go up the hill, they charge you entrance fee, regardless of whether you stay there. Upon checkout, Colmar is supposed to refund you the entrance fee, but if you misplace your ticket, there will be no refund. You will also have to pay entrance fees for the Japanese tea ceremony and animal park. Almost all the staff there are foreign workers who have difficulty communicating. Again, this is good for the management because the salaries will be cheaper. All in all, nice place for a visit, but the experience is diminished because the management constantly reminds you that it is only interested in your money! Very short sighted way of doing business if you ask me.

This place is a replica of a town in the Grand Est region of northeastern France, near the border with Germany. It looks incredibly funny in Malaysia and since it is owned and maintained by the ill-famed Berjaya Group, you can expect the lowest standard of everything, not worth the price.

Nothing special in the Colmar Tropicale. French theme recreational small town, which good to click photo with buddies. Hotel, restaurants, souviner outlets, french architecture design building & landscape are all about it. It will take almost 1 hour to visit the attractive points there

1. The room’s toilet flooded as the drainage was blocked. However, the water will go down but it will take a long time.

2.Breakfast will be better if they would have turn on the warmer, so i breakfast was cold even we went down around 7am.

3. All the eateries closes at 9.30pm even though they wrote last order 9.45pm and the eateries would close at 10pm or 11pm.

4. No convenience store or mini mart to buy any midnight snacks.

However, it was a great experience. But definitely will not go again
