The hotel is quite expensive compare to other place. Waiting almost 1hour while check-in, but they upgraded our room from Deluxe room to 1 bed-room suite. Furniture in the room look a bit old, but still acceptable. The floor is sticky, not dirty but maybe they didn't clean off the floor cleanser well. We have a mountain view room, the air is cold and fresh. Bath room is very damp, didn't see any exhaust fan. And the water is accumulate near the bath tube.

Things to-do:
-Nice place to relax and walk around, enjoy the environment.
-Nice dance performance. Some dancing are different for different scheduled time.
-Giant swan and bird nest below the bridge of the entrance.
-Free transport provided to few places near-by such as Japanese garden, animal park (fun for kids as they can feed deers and hug rabbits), organic garden etc.
-Most activity need extra charges (RM25-RM600), so we only go for Japanese garden, animal park (RM5) and organic garden.

Food are nice but costly, compare and choose wise.

Worth to go at least once, but if you been at France before, no point to come here again.

Room Tip: Street view room will have a lively environment, mountain/ golf course view will be quieter.

Colmar tropicale reminds me of the university week project trip to Paris during my undergraduate days. It has been our nearby getaway after the buzy working months and job demands. My husband especially likes the tranquil environment and becoz it is just within driving distance
. The lovely decorated buildings and landscape is breathtaking to watch. We are soon friends with those lovely swans too. It's amazing to watch how hygenuc the creature can be...cleaning up their nest and surrounding. Impressive....the room is pleasant and breakfast quite satisfactory. Spent time to watch the show and love the food at la flemme restaurant there. We both love the japanese garden and spent a lovely meal at the restaurant there amidst the green n flowering botanical garden. Oxygen oxygen oxygen.... what a refreshing experience. The guests may want ti try the kimono and have a tea ceremony there
Don't muss the fun of feeding the fish there and also the rabbits at the animal park. Always a good feeling going there coz we could be just like children again...all problems left downhill while we rest and enjoy the time at Berjaya hills. Will come back anytime....

The place is literally dead. Arrived there on Friday night and its all so quiet by 10.30AM. No entertainment, no place to shop/walk.

Breakfast quality dropped compare to my previous visit. You need to improve on that.

Do not think I will visit again until there's a major renovation/attraction.

Room Tip: Only for a day trip or a night stay. That's sufficient!

i went there yesterday with my spouse for a short break. we found about this place in the internet and decided to give it a try. it was a wonderful trip for us! it started off with the room that we got. we made a reservation for a superior twin room and we were flattered because they had gave us a room with a queen size bed and a view facing a golf course. the view is so beautiful! basically the french theme resort is a best place to visit for couples on a honeymoon or people who like to see scenery. there are a lot of place to visit here such as the Japanese village that give you insight of a place in Japanese. you can hire a kimono for RM20 and take pictures in it. it gave us a feeling like we are in Japan. there are also botanical garden there. both entrance fee is included in the hotel package. one thing that you will have to experience is the feeling of colmar tropicale at night! it is so cold and it gave us a romantic vibe. there are street performance and also stage perfomance that you see in a carnival. there are restaurant that you can have dinner but the price is quite expensive. around RM15 to RM30 for a meal. choose wisely. overall colmar tropicale gave us a wonderful time here and we had fun.

Colmar Tropicale is a French-themed village situated in Bukit Tinggi, Pahang, Malaysia. You'll need to pay RM12 for the entrance fee for an dult and RM8 for a child. Nevertheless, it is refundable the moment you are checking in to their hotel. Colmar Tropicale offers many activities. You can just have a walk at the Botanical Garden and enjoy a cup of Japanese green tea at the Japanese Village or challenge yourself for a thrilling recreational activities such as mountain biking or rock climbing.
If you would like to go for a walk at the Botanical Garden, you got to make sure that you are fit and best not to bring elderly there because it is quite tiring and a little hilly.

If you are up for a walk: from Lebuh Ampang just go to Berjaya Times Square near Imbi Station. Shuttle transfer Services are available (2-way). It costs MRY55.00. You can buy the ticket from the driver.

Daily departures from Beryaja Time Square are 10:00am, 1:00pm and 5:00pm while daily departures from Colmar Tropicale, Berjaya Hills are at 11:30am, 3:00pm and 6:30pm.

Foods there are a bit expensive so it’s better to bring something to eat and drink.

The duration of the trip is almost one hour so if you want to check all attractions like the Japanese Village, Botanical Garden, Animal Park etc… come early (take the 10:00am trip) and go home late (take the 6:30pm trip).
