My daughter acts at Sutter Street Theatre, a hometown theatre with great talent. Great staff and performers. Take in a show there soon and a fun town to browse through. Sam Horn's Tavern is a great brewski stop.

Recently revamped and looks good. Lots of great restaurants, stores with antiques, fun shopping. Don't forget Snooks Candy Store for your sugar fix. Yummy. Still family owned for many, many years. Parking is not a problem

Visiting a 'historic district" sounds like a yawn...but Sutter Street is lively both day and night. Within a 3 block area, your can peruse boutiques ranging from "New Age-Hippie" to "French-shabby chic", to holiday decor---and plenty of antique shops to satisfy a browser's fancy. Restaurant choices are varied-popular Sutter Street Cafe offers an old fashioned, stick-to-your ribs breakfast/brunch with a bonus of black and white photos on the walls of Folsom Prison. Bistro La Petite France is deliciously authentic and other restaurants include upscale Sutter Street Steakhouse, ever popular Chicago Fire Pizza and more. On weekend evenings, Sutter Street comes alive for dancing and music, appealing to the 20-30's group. Mark on your calendar the many events that occur throughout the year and discover the fun of Sutter Street in Folsom.

Great shops to spend your money. It's fun looking through the antique stores. Some good eating places also. Sutter Street Cafe is one of them. My son said there is also a good Chinese restaurant.
