We came across this place when we visited Yosemite and stayed at the adjoining bed and breakfast (which by the way is wonderful but expensive). We had dinner here twice.
As a lot of the items on the menu were very expensive (many entrees going higher than 30 dollars) we both had the 'french dip' the first night: a wonderful fresh bun with prime rib, horseradish sauce and an exquisite dipping gravy for 15 dollars. For the quality: excellent value for money!
The second night we found out about the 'sunset menu': soup or salad and smaller entree for a greatly reduced price. You have to order before 18:30 though. My girlfriend had the salad (ok) and the pasta salad (good). I had the clam chowder (wonderful) and the salmon with pilav rice (perfect). Total bill including a beer: just over 30 dollars.
Highly recommended for the quality of the food. The early bird menu is also highly recommended for the value.
Service and staff very friendly and correct.
