My husband and I ate here one night after returning from a 3 day backpacking trip in Yosemite. We were starving and just wanted FOOD - and fast. We had a good experience as our server was excellent, but I noticed many patrons around us flagging down their servers and having trouble getting their attention. It's not because the restaurant was full and/or terribly busy, either. I don't know what the issue was. I was just happy that our server seemed to be attentive to us.
We ordered a small pizza and then realized we were much hungrier than what we ordered, but we just reasoned that we'd get dessert or another pizza if we needed to. The kitchen messed up our order, but the server realized it and brought it out for us anyway and offered it to us while assuring us that he'd corrected the order and a new pizza was on its way to us. We gladly accepted the incorrectly made pizza and ate almost the entire thing before the correct pizza was delivered to our table, which we also devoured instantly - AND we ordered dessert.
The food was decent, but it wasn't the most flavorful pizza we've had. The crust was bland. The innkeeper at our B&B gave us some advice that we thought we'd pass along - they use the same amount of dough for the small and the large pizza, so the small pizza has a lot of dough around the edges (as we saw) and a thicker crust. In the end, we should have ordered the large pizza, but since we got 2 pizzas for the price of one, we made out like bandits :)
I'd go back if we were in the area and hopefully we'd get a good server again :)
