If you have no soul don't do this, spend your money on T shirts, fluffy toys, exfoliation and other surplusage.
If you are from the US don't ignore the opportunity to drive your auto history and plow your $ back into a local enterprise of the most excellent type.
If you simply want a great day out combining the opportunity to drive a piece of auto history in one of the most spectacular places in the world then simply do it, pawn your children if you have to and do it, you will remember the experience till the day you die.
Remember to rug/layer up and take some driving gloves if you set off early since you will need them but as the day moves on you will probably be able to lose layers.
Be prepared to be asked about the car and photographed.
Finally, yes it costs a bit but you are supporting the maintenance/dissemination of a unique piece of automotive history in a unique location and it is worth every penny
