Everything we have tried is delicious. The ceviche, the mojarra frita, the molcajete. Fresh home-made tortillas.

“Authentic, festive”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

If you are passing through fillmore and looking for a great place for good Mexican food look no further. They make their own tortillas and salsas and if you want something other than the usual they make great soups. Of course they have all the usual fare as well. As the name implies fish and seafood is the specialty. Good happy hour margaritas before 7pm. They are also a big supporter of our local community, sponsoring many worthy causes. We go here often, sometimes just my wife and I, sometimes the whole family, sometimes we meet friends.

“Great Mexican Food”
Reviewed November 11, 2013

We wandered in after driving down from the coast one Sunday afternoon and found the place absolutely packed, there wasn't a seat in the house! Despite this they ensured us the wait would only be about 10 minutes and it was. The wait for the food was actually quite small when you take into consideration the restaurant was at capacity. I ordered the Fajitas and was especially please with my meal, the combination of fresh beef, lemon marinated chicken (It had to have marinated overnight to have that kind of flavor) and fresh shrimp was a true joy. I reveled in every bite!

“Great portions and Fresh!”
Reviewed October 15, 2013

Very impressed with how well this restaurant handles big crowds. The food choices are great and the portions are very impressive. The menu has pictures that made the selection very simple. Service was friendly and quick to respond to requests. The tortillas taste homemade, but I was too busy eating them to ask. We ordered an appetizer, Cerviche, but didn't even get through it because the food came quick and hot. We'll be back to try more of their dishes!

“Yummmm, Muy Bueno Mexican food!”
Reviewed September 26, 2013

We have enjoyed so many wonderful meals from burritos to tostadas to tacos to fish dishes for the last several years - they do it right 24/7! The owner is so hospitable, the property is very clean, and the service is great (ask for Omar). Their chips and salsa are delicious. They make their own tortillas! You'll want to take a Siesta after you eat one of their meals - enjoy!
