Description: Oak Tree Ristorante is nestled in the heart of the Santa Cruz Mountains with surrounding redwoods, rivers, wineries, and the sounds of the steam engine in the distance. This restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal with friends, family or that special someone. Located on Highway 9 in Felton, just south of the entrance to Henry Cowell State Park. The newly refurbished restaurant has a warm and welcoming ambiance inside and out. Enjoy dining in a storybook setting, serene garden views, the gentle sounds of our fountain, and overhead, the sheltering arms of our spectacular giant oak. Chef Nobile has created an excellent wine list; a selection of both local and Italian wines, making Oak Tree Ristorante the best destination in the San Lorenzo Valley.

“Stellar Entree!”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

Booked into the Fern River Resort across the street by my clients while on a business trip, the front desk clerk recommended either eating at the Oak Tree Ristorante or driving down to Santa Cruz. It was late, I was tired, so the "across the street" option won hands down, a choice that resulted in one of the best meals I've had in YEARS! I started with the house Caesar - pretty sure the chef made the dressing. The salmon special with veggies was simple & light, yet incredibly flavorful - I found myself throughout the meal wishing I could take the chef home with me or at least take some cooking lessons from him! My understanding is that this establishment uses local and organic ingredients whenever possible. Not an inexpensive meal, but worth every penny! Only suggestion - tone down the music a bit - enjoyed the vintage rock selections, but didn't need the base to be chest-rattling while dining...

“Charming Country Flare”
Reviewed August 24, 2013 via mobile

Yesterday ate lunch. Started off with their House made fresh Wheat Berry & Focaccia Breads with dipping olive oil & Garlic. They bring the bread out to you before you order. Chicken Parmigiana with mixed grilled vegetables. Delicious, Plated very appealing to the eye. Very flavorful. My friend ordered the GLT Sandwich Bacon, Tomatoes & mixed greens on sliced bread. Very good also. We sat in the outdoor patio area. Very nice we viewed the tall Red wood trees nearby. Very leisure& relaxing. The service is excellent.

“A charming place”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

Had dinner at Oak Tree Ristorante in July: the place charming under the trees and food very good. Their pasta was al dente and full of flavor, which I believe was made in house. During summer months, the sun sets late and you will be enjoy the good food alfresco too in comfort. Highly recommended!

“A Lovely place”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

Had dinner here last night and it was very tasty. My friend and I did the chef's tasting of an appetizer, salad, pasta and main dish, oh and dessert too. Stuffed to the gills! The beet salad was wonderful and the homemade mushroom ravioli was so good. I look forward to coming back!
