“Rude rats”
Reviewed October 19, 2012

Rude people skunks raccoons no big deal but rats take care of your place!!! Close to park that's the nice only nice thing about the place. Oh ya they should try to clean the bathrooms sometime. Smells of urine and full of foot fungus.

“Family camping at its best”
Reviewed July 2, 2012

We have been bringing outer trailer to Cotillion gardens for the past eight years, and have even used their monthly rental program in the past. Our son came her with his grandparents 30years ago! The location is wonderful, with trails and a footbridge over the San Lorenzo river into Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, and access to the Roaring Camp Railroad. Park is older, but well maintained. Restrooms are clean. Pool is good, and lots of area for kids to play and just have fun. Staff isveryfreindly and helpful, and park has a very safe feel. Easy access to Santa Cruz via Hwy 9, and shopping nearby in Felton. Great family park with both full hookups, partial hookups, some tent sites and a few camping cabins.

“Great Family Getaway”
Reviewed June 30, 2012 via mobile

We have stayed here for a week for the past 5 summers. We like it because we don't have an RV but like to camp with our family who do have RV's. The campground offers little cabins for rent. The first time, we got the bare bones cabin (queen bed, bunkbeds, little livingroom) and used the camp shared restroom/showers. Most recently we got cabin 29 at the top of the hill, which had a kitchenette and bathroom. We liked the little yard with privacy fence, and enjoyed a campfire each night/morning.

It's only a 15 minute drive to Santa Cruz Boardwalk, about 45 minutes to Monterey, and the campground is nestled in the middle of beautiful redwoods in Cowell State Park. There are great restaurants in Santa Cruz and Felton, and the surrounding areas.

It's resorty for sure (some of the sites are very close together) but when you stay with family and friends you feel comfortable letting the kids head down to the basketball hoop, rec room, playground, or just riding bikes through the campground. The staff are always very friendly and helpful.

“Cotillion Gardens Recreational Travel Trailer Park, Felton, CA”
Reviewed June 13, 2011

We took our trailer to Santa Cruz CA for Spring Break (April 2011) with our 2 sons (ages 6 & 9). we were looking for a campground with fun activities for boy (with LOTS of energy). The RV park is WONDERFUL, and there were lots of other families with kids out playing, riding bikes, playing in the little stream! They have a wonderful game room that do NOT cost much! plus a pool, basketball area, and the slide/swing/play area! Cannot wait to go back! A+++++++++++++

The staff are very friendly!
