So I was excited to try the steamed trout with a creamy champagne sauce over angel hair pasta and fresh grilled vegetables. Their website speaks of using the freshest ingredients. Well that trout was cooked well but the sauce was bland. The angel hair pasta was overcooked, clumped underneath the trout. The vegetable were fine. It was so not worth the price that I paid. So disappointed.

Nice simple but tasty food, with great service, and a cosy location. Stopped in for breakfast and dinner.

We found this place while staying at a airbnb nearby. The food was great from burgers and pastas. Its small but there is seating outside too. We got there early before the dinner rush and had the place to ourselves for 1/2 hour then it filled up!

Located in fawnskin where we have no restaurants but this one. Lucky us it's wonderful.
Breakfast is awesome. Breakfast burritos huge..enough for two. Fine dining on Fri and sat nites. The owner richard is the chef and never fail to amaze. Staff is friendly owners friendly. A little hometown jewel

We had been trying to eat at this cute cafe for many months. Seems we are always in the area when they are closed (I think Mondays and Tuesdays). We were glad to get a chance to eat an early lunch there last week. Breakfast or lunch menus were available.
The pepper omelet with country style potatoes and toast was enjoyed by my husband.
It was quite 'warm' with pepperjack cheese and hot peppers in it. I enjoyed a delicious BLT with avocado on toasted sour dough bread. A choice of sides were available - the side salad I chose was fairly large with lettuce, cherry tomatoes and croutons. Because it was midweek - post summertime - 11:00 am, there was only one other couple there. Another couple showed up as we were leaving... so the service was very good. Hope to return and sample more of the extensive menu!
