My family (aunts) and I always take a girls trip each year and decided to visit due to being only few miles from hotel. What a great experience (even though we visited on a saturday and the factory was not actually open) very informative and a fun experience. If you like doing fun/different types of things and are in the area just stop by to try it out! you wont be disappointed.

So colorful and entertaining to watch the way Jelly Bellies started and flourished into the spectacular company it is today. You start out by entering through a very neat and inviting parking area with an adorable VW Bug decked out in front of the doors where you can stop and quickly snap a selfie before you walk into the colorful "land of jelly bellies". The tour guide was courteous and moved the group along with informative details sprinkled with humor and jelly bellies to taste in their different stages of completion along the way. You can also opt to have a photo taken before the tour begins because no photos or recording of any kind is allowed while you are on the actual tour. At the end of the tour your are given a sealed 4 oz pack of assorted jelly bellies as a sample of your tour and you can head back down the stairs into the store that contains a sampling bar, jelly bellies and chocolates for sale. The day we visited there was also a chocolate & wine tasting you could enjoy in one of the conference rooms. For $15 you received tastings of 5 local wines paired up with appropriate chocolate. You also got to take home a clean wine glass embossed with the Jelly Belly name and logo on it. All in all, a lot of fun for everybody.

Took my grown kids and 5 year old grandson here for the first time last month. It was about what I expected. The tour (mostly video clips with a tour guide herding you along between video monitors that were up above the factory floor) was interesting for adults & older kids. The younger kids (including my grandson) were fascinated at first, but the tour was long enough that they started to get bored at the end, especially when there was not a lot going on for them to see on the production floor.

Be warned: you HAVE TO wear a head covering (they make food there, after all). They provide you with a folding paper hat, or you can wear either your own hat that you bring along, or a hair net that they can give you. So if you're picky about your headwear, you might want to bring along your own cap. In addition, photography is not allowed inside the factory (in the store/lobby, yes.. on the tour, no), so don't bother bringing your fancy dSLR along because you'll be carrying it more than using it; your phone and/or point-and-shoot camera will do the job just fine.

The samples during the tour and free bag of Jelly Bellys at the end of the tour were nice, and while I didn't try it myself, the sample bar looked fun. The store had a huge selection, albeit overpriced as one would expect in such a place, but the staff members that I encountered were very friendly. It looked like there was a bit of food to be had at one end of the building, but we didn't go over there (I eat gluten free so places like that rarely have much of a selection for me), so I can't review the food offerings.

Fun outing, and I'd definitely do it again.

The Jelly Belly factory tour was very cool and informative. If you are near this part of Cali it is worth stopping in. The prices are a bit high but its to be expected. Great tour and very friendly customer service. Great job Jelly Belly.
