The experience is totally free - only cost is purchases from store, cafe or photos. Free samples to taste at shop and on the tour and a free bag of "Belly Flops" at the end - cool.

Great to see how they are made and the smell of tangerine while on the tour was fab as that was the flavour being made at the time. No photos allowed to be taken on the tour, but not easy to forget the stacks of Beans ready to be shipped - Yum!!!!

Haunted house was there as Halloween time- this was fun.

I shopped in the discount shop beside the cafe and got half price deals on bags of beans which helped keep cost down as too many flavours I like :-)

Well worth a visit and easy to find .

Ins and outs of making jelly beans with a dabble of chocolate thrown it. Samples to taste at each step in the process. Tour from upper walkway with windows, even lower ones for kids. Sample tasting of several beans from 3 selected flavors at the end along with company store. Good tour.

This tour is great, and a place I am always willing to take visitors to the area. I never have a bad experience. Go in October and you get a great Haunted House tour also.

This is a fun way to spend a couple of hours on you way out of the Bay Area. It's especially good on a weekday, so that you can see the jelly beaning in action. There are also informative videos and lots of free samples. If you like a good jelly bean once in a while, you shouldn't miss this stop. But get there early in the day. The wait to get on a tour can be several hours. There is a nice indoor area for a picnic lunch or purchased items and of course for stuffing yourself with jelly beans. It is kind of good to note that jelly bean prices here are somewhat higher than you can find in most stores. That didn't stop us from buying 10 pounds of belly flops, however.
