“Not a place for a diet”
Reviewed August 16, 2012

This place has pretty good food, and a great atmosphere. When my sister asked for a calorie menu, they told her if she was worried about calories this place was not the place to be. We had a good laugh and then inhaled some fried pickles. Who knew the things were so good?!

“boot scooting dinners!”
Reviewed August 9, 2012

Had dinner here with a friend as we were traveling from the Bay Area and stopped to get out of traffic. Were seated promptly and wait servers were very personable.enjoyed the free peanuts and then the blooming onion was incredible. My friend enjoyed the sirloin tips kebobns and I had the chili, caeser salad and an entree. Took enough food home for the next day. An all around enjoyable dinner. No need to dress up just put on your best cowboy boots andcome and dance along with the waitresses! Fun evening!

“Medicre attempt at BBQ”
Reviewed August 1, 2012

Ribsa re marinated in the BBQ sauce for two days before smoking. As a result, only flavor was the OK sauce. Ribs overcooked - no bite to them at all. Wife had a tough T-bone.

“Noisy but great food!”
Reviewed July 29, 2012

First time to Texas Roadhouse and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. They also had a pretty large selection of types of beef/pork/chicken to choose from. I had a delicious, and very nicely prepared filet, and tons of extra trimmings (potatoes, mushrooms, onions, and salad). The staff are friendly and efficient, and some are quite entertaining with their singing and line-dancing skills. A great family-style place. Fairfield is literally starved for fine-dining establishments, but does not lack for fast-food or family-style--and the Roadhouse is at the top of the ladder in this category. Kids will love it!

“Great Steaks but NO brisket???”
Reviewed July 19, 2012

Fantastic fun place to eat. Really noisy and the staff does the two step to country music at times. Steaks are excellent and not too expensive. Unfortunately there is no bbq brisket or other real Texas food. There are ribs and chicken. Beware it is usually packed and wait times can get up to 45 minute wait time. Call ahead and make a RSVP.
