After reading TA reviews, my husband and I decided to have breakfast at Huckleberrys last Sunday morning. We had a reasonable breakfast during a busy time between 11:30AM and 12:30PM. We parked right next to the restaurant, just around the corner from the front entrance. After breakfast, we found our rental car with a window broken and our luggage stolen. While the restaurant manager and son of the owner were sympathetic and helpful (called the police), we learned that there had been 3 "smash and grab" break-in's in the lot during the previous month. Huckleberrys is located in an outdoor shopping mall, which includes a Raley's supermarket and other stores. According to the police officer, no security cameras or patrols have been installed despite the recent criminal activity.
