The tour was free and well organized. The tour guide talks through the beer making process and shows off the facility. Free beer sample. Gift shop.

Took this tour while staying in Suisun City, didn't realise there was a factory here but found it in hotel information!
Excellent tour, very nice knowledgable guide. Started off with films and talk in a room where we sat with some free samples! Soft drinks were available as well.
Learnt a lot about how they make the different brews etc.
Actual tour not as long as we thought it would be which was disappointing.
Small gift store.
Enjoyable if you have a 1 or 2 free hours.

Pretty much in agreement with what the other raters have said. I've been to other Anheuser Busch Brewery locations and the tours were really great. Not so at Fairfield. Walk in the door, get a visitor badge, head to the waiting area for endless Bud commercials and/or walking aroung an unstaffed gift shop, get to watch 25 minutes worth of video's while having your first refreshments then take a really short tour of an empty factory floor , see the tanks, return for a second drink if you'd like and that's your tour. While the guide was very nice and informative the tour itself was really disappointing. Can't recommend this to others.

“Waste of time except for free beer”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2008

While we were in Fairfield, we decided to do the Busch tour since it was right near Jelly Belly. It was pretty bogus. You come in and get a visitor badge. Then you head to the gift shop where tours start on the hour for about 45 minutes. If the tour isn't starting right away, you get to either look around gift shop or watch endless BUD commercials on the TV.

You get 2 coupons for free beer or beer like drink. You grab one drink and watch some videos with someone explaining stuff that doesn't really add to the video. Then they take you to a freezing cold storage area (40 degrees F I believe) where they explain what is in the tanks (duh, beer). Then you exit into the gift shop (again) and get your second beer. Thanks, tour over.

Even though we were there on a Monday, there wasn't anything you could see on the small portion of the factory floor you went through and no pictures allowed, not that there was anything to take pictures of.

If you want some free beer, this is a good thing for a 45 minute wait. If you aren't really into beer, skip it and save yourself 45 minutes.

“not much of a tour, but free samples!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2005

Upon entering the brewery, we each got a "tour access" badge we were required to wear, then waited upstairs for the tour to begin in a small room with other people. A TV in the room showed constant Anheuser-Busch commercials, and there were a couple games for kids to play while waiting (air hockey and basketball). The tour began with the guide (who looked to be in his twenties and was excellent--very personable, full of information, and good with jokes) leading us to a "bar" area where they served free pretzels, and the adults full cups (you can have up to two) of the Anheuser-Busch alcoholic beverage of your choice, while the kids got soda. We then sat at the tables in the bar area while the guide showed us two videos of how Budweiser is brewed and tested, answered questions, then had a few volunteers test sample two types of beer (fresh vs. "punished"). The actual factory tour (no pictures allowed) was a five minute walk on a balcony area overlooking the production line, and that was it. The guide mentioned construction going on until 2006 prevented us from being able to walk down on the factory floor area.
