“Cozy little veggy spot”
Reviewed May 28, 2014 via mobile

Small location plan to park offsite during peak hours especially on a weekend. There is a nice park next door so you can always park and eat at the park. My favorite dish is the falafal pita sandwich with the addition of avacado and jalapenos. The pita has humus, sprouts, and falafel and it's soo good. Kids enjoyed the nachos with a veggy meat crunble. Great place if your looking for a meat alternative in old Fair Oaks. Staff is generally pretty nice and the place is usually clean and well kept for a small older building.

“A local favorite”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

Great wholesome vegetarian food that has some pizzaz. And the local flavor of the Fair Oaks chickens that wander around while you're eating does add to the experience.

“Still Love It”
Reviewed March 11, 2014 via mobile

I have reviewed this restaurant before and still find it a fun place with delicious natural food in a funky setting. Always a line as health nuts, runners, bikers, and walkers make this a stop on their exercise route. The nutburgers are good as are the fallafal sandwiches. Nachos have a big pile of guacamole, the salsa is homemade. Family had peanut butter shakes which tastes like real peanuts. A special place whether you are a vegan, a vegetarian or just love good food.

“NUT BURGER MADNESS”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

I love the nut burgers, but since I have somewhat of an allergy to tree nuts, I can't eat them. If I'm dying for one, I will put up with my reaction anyway. The milkshakes and smoothies are authentic. Real stuff in them, not fillers. As stated before, Sunflower is a 60's throwback. And you have to wait about that long for your order to come up. It is best to place your order then do other errands til it is ready. Sunflower's amenities are really makeshift backyard. But oh well. The food is great.

“Good for an occasional treat”
Reviewed January 18, 2014 via mobile

When ever we get a craving for something quick and delish we come here. The Nut Burgers are still to 'die' for, and the nutty tacos are close behind. Milk shakes are thick and tasty. Note: Sunflower prices are really on the high end. This isn't a complaint but more of an observation. You are eating something special and unique. But you've been warned...you aren't going to pay In & Out Burger prices here. The food is really fresh and yummy and we do eat here for the occasional treat.
