The hotel is very close to the water and in a convenient location. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There were some graduation celebrations the night we arrived, and the hotel manager happily moved us to a quieter location. It was a considerable upgrade. We were so thankful. The pools, hot tub, and breakfast was good. There are two parts to the hotel. I would recommend paying a little more and staying in the back section of the hotel. It was very quiet and charming.

Stayed in the newer section, nice large room, wi-fi spotty but the free breakfast was ample. Good location, fitness center small but adequate.

We stayed in the 9 month old Garden addition in a King w/fireplace room located on the backside of the property. The Garden area landscape is impressive with a stream, koi pond and spa. The fireplace was an electric unit which seem strange but worked. Fake flames but heat was blown out and was effective. The bed had sheeting over the bed covering like some high-end hotels. The bed was very comfortable. The room has a microwave/refrig nicely hidden behind the main tv/clothes drawer furniture. The TV is a large (at least 40") LCD flat panel. Full breakfast is provided including biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, waffles, and standard breakfast items. We selected this BW based on other TA reviews. This property is very impressive and the staff was very friendly.

I was with a group of eights guys and stayed here as a half way point on our drive from San Fran to Portland.

Over all it was a clean, nice place Nothing fancy, a little out dated.

Kind of funny that the room actually cost us more then the Intercontinental in SF. (We didn't have a reservation, just pulled up and asked for three rooms).

We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived here. Really helpful staff, nice clean room. Decent workout room. We had our dog with us, and our room was convenient for taking him outside. Would stay here again.

Stayed here on business for just one night, but simply loved it. Pay the small upgrade fee ($25) to stay in one of their garden view rooms at the back of the property. Had a very large king suite with a huge jacuzzi tub with jets that sits in the room and faces the large flat screen television and electric fireplace. The room overlooked a very well maintained koi pond and garden. The bed was supremely comfortable and I don't usually sleep well when away.

The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The breakfast was nice - coffee, juice, eggs, bacon, fruit, cereal or waffles. When I am in Eureka again, I will only stay here.
