The food is great. They provided the food, drinks, and setup for my wedding. The only negative thing is they wouldn't make me a strawberry daiquiri in the afternoon.

My wife and I had an early dinner here.
Warmly greeted by Bill at the bar - Good range of beers and, of course, Guinnes.
We shared a Clam chowder, which was excellent
I had shepherds pie and my wife fod sandwich, both were well presented and very tasty.
Overall a very pleasant place for a drink and meal!

We walked through an Irish pub, with ship models hanging over the windows, to an cozy dining room. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. As we had an 11 month old and a 3 year old in tow, we appreciated the fast service (also the packages of crackers) both in taking our order and in delivering our food. It was food that would have been worth waiting for. Our table ordered: Halibut and chips; Salmon and chips; Grilled salmon dinner and a Ruben sandwich. All were prepared to our liking and were delicious. The dining room filled up as we were eating, even though we would have stayed for Bread pudding but the babies were getting restless. We checked out the rest of the premises e way out. There is a wonderful party room attached to the restaurant that would make any group occasion special. It has a stage and a high ceiling with balcony seating all around. There is also a stage. All this is also attached to a grand old hotel.

Went to Gallagher's twice in the last week. The first time for drinks and appetizers with a friend. We both had a glass of wine. The glasses were huge, but filled only about a-quarter-of-the-way, which made for a very small amount. The appetizers were mostly deep-fried; we had a platter of various sausages to share, which consisted of three kinds of sausage, one rather spicy, and three mustards, all served on a bed of sauerkraut. I would not order this appetizer again.

We also had dinner there a couple nights later. The place was nearly full, although it was only about 6 o'clock; however, when we left 1 1/2 hours later, most people had left and nobody else came in, so there were patrons at only 4-5 tables. I had a Reuben Sandwich plus a cup of Chicken Gumbo, which were both good although the corned beef was very stringy. My husband had the Fish'n Chips, which he loved. The portion was large and came with a small cup of Coleslaw.

The servers were good both times, although slightly stressed, yet helpful. The place is nicely decorated with paintings on the walls by a local artist. The bar area in the front is spacious and well-attended. We'll definitely go back!

Super-convenient for guests at the Eagle House (located within the hotel) it's a must-do destination in Old Town Eureka. Friendly Irish Pub atomosphere in the bar, and warming, savory meals in the attached restaurant. Local salmon, fish and chips, and shepherd's pie are our favorites. The place is small and cozy, so you can enjoy the dining experience AND the live Irish music ongoing in the bar. (Things get crowded on live music nights, so a dining reservation might be a good idea). Attentive, friendly waitstaff, and a good time all around.
