“Sequoia Park Zoo great for the family.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 29, 2013

This zoo is a local treasure that is big enough to have some very exotic animals and small enough to be interesting for children of all ages.
It is definitely worth the nominal admission fee.
The zoo also hosts periodic lectures about local wildlife and natural phenomena.

“Small but low priced”

Not a lot of animals but only $6. Better suited for kids. Has a petting barn. It is next to a very nice city park with hiking trails thru Redwoods and creek.

“Nice little zoo.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 25, 2013

This little zoo is nicely maintained and not so big that it takes hours to see. The best kept secret is the café! Amazing food! Who would have guessed? The burgers were made to order and were hot, juicy and excellent! My brother lives in Eureka, so we visit often and will definitely go back.

“I'm proud we have a zoo in Eureka.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2013

Eureka is not a large city and having a zoo makes a major plus for something to do. I go especially for the Red Panda's. They have the cutest faces. Outside of the zoo is a huge park with walking trailing among the Redwoods. On the side of the park where you exit is a waterfall and I go there to bring a lunch and listen to it. Very peaceful.

“Small but mighty”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2013 via mobile

Nestled in a redwood forest is this quaint little zoo. Though on our last visit the gibbons were not out, we did see the red pandas. My son loves going thru the petting zoo area where he has even picked up a chicken. If you want a relaxing afternoon stroll for yourself and lots of entertainment for the kids, definitely visit here.
