My lunch date and I both had the teriyaki chicken. It was very good. It was served with soup or salad, white rice and 2 pieces of sushi. We were very pleased with the food and the service was excellent. The view of the bay is gorgeous.

This restaurant has a great view and that's about it. The carpet need to vacuum, and the table with the huge bouquet of flowers need to be cleaned, so did the washrooms.
The menu is mostly Japanese but has some Italian. Not a good mix. We had Japanese because all tables had chop stick, an indicator that you should take Japanese.....well... not. Maybe I have been spoiled in the past but this was the worse Japanese I had. My edamame were over cooked, and my main meal, came with a sauce that tasted like right out of a can, when it should have been more of a curry style sauce. The waitress never came around to ask us how the meal was. She seem only interested to try to sell us more drinks. During our meal she disappeared into an office. Someone else had to come and pick up our plates. Never ask if we wanted desserts or coffee, just brought the bill.
Sadly it was a bad meal and a bad experience.

The worst meal on our trip so far. The spaghetti ragu was tasteless and required meat. No bread with meal offered, scallops salad was $26. so 5 scallops and alittle lettuce with 1 slice of tomato cut in half and quarter of an avocado does not make a salad, it's called garnish!! The local wine was a step up from white wine vinegar which would have been a nice dressing over the salad, so not the best place to spend an evening in eureka, wish brick and fire had a table available as this dull restaurant and creepy guy walking around all night serving water was not the best way to spend to enjoy the culinary delights promised by the local information source.

Right on the waterfront, this Japanese Restaurant offers very good authentic Japanese food.
Very good ambience, almost all the tables have a great view of the Bay.
Very courteous, cheerful waiters and the good food gives one a very satisfied feeling.
Very good Sushi Bar.
I along with my family when staying at the Bear River Casino and Hotel, drve down to Eureka one evening and had dinner there.
We were four adults and two children, and all of us enjoyed our dinner outing.
It was a bit noisy what with the Chefs preparing the meal with all his tricks and the loud conversation, cheering etc. But it was fun.
After dinner we strolled along the Bay.
It was cold and nice.

From the entrance and its grand view, to the warm welcome and great dinner, this place is a real winner! It seems mostly locals are there -- a good sign. It should also have a presence in tourist brochures as it would have great appeal for visitors to Eureka too. I especially enjoyed the Italian selections.
