We took the whole extended family here in early April. The brewery is located in a very large industrial building in town. There is no sign or directional notices of any kind on or near the building so be aware. We drove around three times before we saw people walking into what appeared to be an entrance. When we asked why we were told the owners want it to be a hidden treasure. Stupid and a time waster for your guests. Anyway we were seated and the service was prompt. The gardens and trails out back are really cool so check them out even if you do not drink beer. The food was just OK. I had a sea bass dish that while decent was very TGI Fridays in its taste and appearance. My wife was served a fish dish that turned out to be a whole fish with the head still attached...not fun when you are not expecting it. They have a good beer on tap selection but not as many as you would think. Most of the food was OK about the quality of a chain place. Neat interior and gardens so just go in and have a beer and skip the expensive so-so meal.

We had a gift card but had eaten here previously. We knew that the menu was eclectic, but still surprised how bad the food tasted. We ordered Pierogis, Tortilla soup and a large house salad. The soup was way over spiced with a minimum garnish of tortilla strips, the Pierogis should have been cooked more as their pastey texture caused me to choke, and the salad had too little dressing plus a hard boiled egg for garnish which was soft boiled (it was described that way in the menu). My wife does not eat yolks that are glossy. Unfortunately we still have money on the gift card and will probably go back. However I am going to look at the childrens menu where I understand they less eclectic items. Maybe if we drink enough beer to start with the food will taste better.

Expensive, fancy food, great service. Lovely gardens perfect for a wedding reception. I was there as part of a work dinner and everyone had a great time.

An oasis in Escondido. The greatest beer in America comes from here...BUT this is about the food. Very different and interesting. Focus on using the beers they brew, with special nights, make sure you check on line prior to going.

Wonderful place, can be VERY busy especially on the weekends. A bit of a drive from downtown San Diego, but worth every minute. My suggestion would be to cab it, as the beers are STRONG!

We stopped by for dinner and a rest after a long day at the Safari Park. For a craft brewery, this place is amazing. The building is very industrial, built of steel, glass, and what else? Lots of stone. Granite, travertine, cement tiles and castings, all woven into an indoor and outdoor eating and bar area. Great crowd in the evening, fantastic selection of all the Stone beers, and other craft beers from around the country. Food is fantastic, and very high quality. Desserts are tasty but be prepared to be surprised, as they are quite small portion wise. Great shop for t-shirts, riding jerseys, hats, glasses, and of course, beer to go available in several different growlers! You should not miss this place, and we will be back!!!!
