We were fortunate to be seated within a few minutes on a busy early evening but it was clear that the wait staff and kitchen were struggling to keep up given the delays in orders being taken and food being delivered to our table. We had a long wait even for the bread that comes with every meal but it was piping hot and very fresh so all was good in the end. The food was all worth waiting for, one member of our party didn't quite get what they thought they ordered but that was a communication mix up and they still enjoyed their meal as presented. Overall, a positive experience as it has been on prior visits. Good food, 1/2 price house wine and overall fair value. Our visit was not really spoiled by the waits, it just gave us more time to share with each other, but if we'd been on a schedule it could have been annoying.

Friday night and Amgen in town in Escondido. We went to Macaroni Grill to the Take out counter. Parking was an issue for a sit down dinner but the take out parking was vacant. We went in ordered salad, pasta and dessert to go and had a glass of wine while waiting for the order. We took it back to our room and were in and out in about 20 minutes.

I really like this restauarant. I have rendezvoused here with friends on a few occasions, girls night out. The bar made good martini's. The noise level is alittle on th ehigh side but it is festive! Good value on food and great service. I loved their pork chops. As much as I would be a regular here, I can't be as I live 45 mins away. Last time I went to a Romanos was in Hawaii on the Big Island.

We met our long time friends and neighbors for dinner. The service was a little slow and our server was spending much of her time running around the restaurant. We never did understand why. However, the food was warm and great as always from a Macarini Grill.

Would we go back? Yes we would. We all can have a bad day, just not everyday. Right!

We ate here after a full day at the Safari Park on the recommendation of a park employee. The house chianti was very nice and our meals were excellent. The caprese salad was really good. Our server was awesome. Our party of 4 ate for $105 including a bottle of wine...very reasonable meals with good quality. Nice menu.j
