I go here quite often and whenever I have friends come for a visit - I make sure that I take them to this very special place. It sends the imagination exploding. Watching the children interact with all the characters that are on permanent exhibit here is a treat. Nikki de Saint Phalle gave a very special gift to the people of Escondido and to those who visit here. Not to be missed.

Take your kids here, they will love it. Unique sculptural garden your kids will think it interesting and imaginative. Glad to see there is something cultural to do in Escondido, this is a very nice addition to Kit Carson Park.

What a fantastic place hidden at the back of a park! All ages can appreciate this place! And if you have a second look up the history of the structure. Interesting and super colorful!

This is a real gem, and we are so fortunate to have world renown artist Nicki de Saint Phalle's only American sculpture garden in our town! I always visit it on my frequent walks in Kit Carson Park and always take out of town visitors to see it too. Everyone marvels at the unusual mosaic sculptures, each with intricate designs and meanings. Her style reminds me very much of Gaudi's and is both whimsical and intriguing. It's a must see and a spectacular addition to the pleasant and pretty park that offers everything from tennis courts to frisbee golf to a skate park.

The only bad thing is it's closed on an odd day, like monday or something like that. BUt it's quite beautiful and free.
