“Perfect spot to feel the "California" spirit..”
Reviewed April 16, 2013

It's located on the 101 Highway, pretty important street. It's like an old train station, where you can find very tasty coffee, and amazing food. I recommend the Greek eggs. The best thing is to seat outside on the weekend, and enjoy the atmosphere. The place get busy with families, dogs, cyclists, friends, it's great. Everybody enjoying their coffee!
Love it!

“in an old train station”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

on the 101. lived in seattle for 17 years and there are so many great coffee/bakery/sandwich places like this up there but not so many in this area. they also have breakfast. one of the few places in this city that does a decent expresso drink. get down for a walk on the beach after, tides permitting.

“Favorite breakfast spot =)”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

It's located in a bright yellow old train depot/station built in the late 1800's - can't miss it if you're driving on the Pacific Coast Highway - One of my absolute favorite spots in San Diego! Great baked goods - love the muffins, love the pies! The service is great (in case it's confusing if this is your first time, you have the same person taking your order, making your espresso drink, grabbing your pie and then cashing you out). The menu for breakfast is not huge (baked goods, bagel, a few egg dishes) so not for you if you're looking for a wide eclectic selection of brunch items. It is for you if you want to drink your morning coffee in an incredibly charming environment and sit outside on a sunny day.

“OK”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

Location is fun, staff is wonderful, food is just so so. We probably would go back if the menu changed. I have heard this from friends and we all agree that the restaurant is a keeper but the menu is not.

“Best lattes! Great baked goods”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

Passing by the yellow, old-fashioned building on PCH intrigued me. When I finally stopped to check it out, I was not disappointed. The historic building once a train station is cool and the coffee shop is excellent. One of the best lattes served in a glass mug. The muffins and quiche are quite good too. And it's fun to sit outside in the sun and watch the world go by. This place is popular and the parking is limited but don't let that deter you.
