“Yummy”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2013

Driving up the coast from La Jolla and noticed a large crowd waiting to get in to Swami's cafe. My husband pulled a fast right and we luckily found a parking spot just next door. The line was probably 15 people deep but moved quickly. We ordered a BLTA sandwich and an Acai bowl. The sandwich was good but dry and really nothing special but the Acai bowl was the best I have ever had. They serve it on homemade granola, all your berry fruits, bananas, bee pollen and top it with coconut. Soooo good and yummy.

when in encinitas, don't miss swamis, especially for breakfast. exclusively outdoor seating, with great egg and fresh fruit and granola offerings. very cool and very typical for SoCal.

“Unique and Delicious”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

Love Swamis. They have a board full of specials each day as well as a full menu. Vegetarian, meat lovers, Health conscious - they have it all covered. Excellent coffee as well. Most of the seating is outside, so dress appropriately. Located right on the 101 and across the street from the beach. Love it.

“Awesome food, if you get it”

Other people ordered, ate, and left before we got our food.( Did not get the correct orders either) Staff did not care one bit. Too bad , as the food was wonderful.

“Pretends to be health conscious, but disappoints.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2012

We chose to have breakfast at Swami's because they advertise multi-grain pancakes and waffles. We thought it would be fun to sample some local color in an outdoor cafe. Their capuccinos are excellent, but their food was disappointing. When the pancakes and the waffle arrived, we asked if they were multi-grain because they looked as if they were made of white flour. The waitress, just smiled and said, "Yes", so we took her at her word. However, not only were they not what we ordered, but the eggs and bacon that accompanied them were cold. We had waited quite a long time to be served, so we did not return the meals. We simply agreed not to patronize them again.
