This is one of my favorite restaurants in north san diego county. It is some of the best food ever, always fresh and flavorful. I have a few favorite dishes, like the soup with coconut broth, the papaya salad, the fried scallops, the soups, and much much more. You will relax in the calm and quiet atmosphere of this restaurant. They serve beer and sake and the prices are reasonable. Find your favorite dish by frequenting this place often.

Kim's has excellent soup and noodle dishes. The place is small, but comfortable. Only thing I didn't like was that the place was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop.

This has got to be one of the best places in town for Pho. The broth is hot and flavorful with just the right amount of noodles and spices. I prefer the chicken and the wife loves the seafood. Either way you can't beat it. Throw in a order of Hand Roll and you're set. Note that the orders are large, so one soup serves two people.

Kim's is a pretty standard looking Vietnamese restaurant, but has better than average soups, spring rolls and banh mi. Dishes are served with very generous portions of lettuce, basil, peppers, and cilantro--always a good sign in a pho palace. Service is polite and efficient. Prices are modest. Great place for lunch on a winter day in Southern California. Recommended.

For over 20 years when we travel to North County San Diego, we always plan to have at least one meal here. We have never been disappointed. The food is still somewhat unusual compared to other Vietnamese restaurants, but this is one place that we love!
