“Great Brunch!”
Reviewed July 8, 2014

Just down the street from where we live and we go always for their brunch! The cocktails are awsome fro mimosa, to their very spicy Bloody Mary's Yum! They have a great ambience and the extensive beer menu and wine is fantastic!, I love their eggs Benedict which is made with home made biscuits and a wonderful short ribs and hollandaise sauce! The potatoes are so good too! The wait staff is wonderful and the chef is fun to watch in the kitchen as he prepares all the delectable items. Go early because this little hidden secret in Leucadia is always crowed!

“Very good food & big selection of craft beers. For families or dates”
Reviewed March 5, 2014

I live a few miles away and we have eaten here about twice a month since they opened. Why? The food is quite good and the service has always been excellent. The PPH (Priority Public House) burger is a favorite; they add chopped up jalapeno peppers to the hamburger patty! And no - it's not hot. Just more flavorful. They always offer different specials, and have a big selection of craft beers. We've also had weekend lunch (aka brunch) and they add another menu with egg dishes.

We like the feel of the place. I've seen families with young children, and people on dates. They even have a parking lot (most places in the area, is strictly street parking. Nice to have the extra spaces). I recommend this place if you want a taste of the local scene.

“Great little find”
Reviewed February 26, 2014 via mobile

Great selection of beers, friendly and helpful staff and really tasty food. The chef even came to our table to answer a question we asked about the fantastic tasting walnuts in the salad.
This review is based on 3 visits over the period of a week, there would have been 4 visits but for the fact they close on Mondays!
Cool vib here, will be going again next time we are in Encinitas.

“Not sure we will return . . .”
Reviewed February 7, 2014

We have eaten here at least 4 times, and at this point, not sure what will bring us back. On the first three occasions, service was slow. There was always an excuse about what was happening in the kitchen. Sausage appetizer on the first occasion arrived painfully slow and the restaurant was fairly empty. The three large sausages served with mustard was full of flavor but needed to be accompanied with bread, etc. On that visit, we did enjoy a wonderful crab cake and hamburger. On our third visit for dinner, we ordered appetizers and after a long wait, our dinners arrived! As we questioned the expediter, our appetizers appeared. The waitress made a flimsy excuse, and we were forced to ask that they take our entrees back to the kitchen to keep them warm (waitress did not offer but attempted to make room on our small table for all the plates). On our fourth and most recent visit, we again ordered the sausage platter because we remembered the really great flavor and generous portion. The platter arrived with half of the serving size as we previously remembered. The flavor is still there, but again we asked the waitress if we could possibly order some type of bread, She obliged. The Blackened Shrimp Po Boy was flavorful but at $19, not a good value. Our two duck breast specials were good enough, but at the price, we expected a bit more to accompany the dish (only a very small portion of sweet potato puree supported the sliced duck breast, along with a few small pieces of candied citrus). Service and timing was much improved this time around. A good selection of craft beer is on hand and windows, with counter tops, open up to the coast hwy. A great way to enjoy the local scene while enjoying a brew.
