We always love our visits to Emeryville and often eat at nearby Cafe Aquarius. The food is consistently very good, the employees are friendly, and the service is efficient. Add to this a pleasant atmosphere with plenty of natural light and books and papers to read. Weekends are busy so early eaters can avoid the crowds. We'll be visiting Emeryville again soon and will surely have another few breakfasts at Cafe Aquarius.

It was already quarter past ten when we walked in here - just in time for the breakfast, which they do not do after 10:30.

We ordered pancakes and granola. Both were very tasty. There is the option to order the granola with fruit and joghurt for an additional dollar each, which we did. For that, I would have hopes for just a little bit more fruit than the three strawberries and the half banana that made up the fruit. Apart from that, everything tasted very good, was obviously freshly prepared and looked appetizing. The coffee comes with a free refill which you get at the counter.

I liked it and would come here again.

Stooped in for lunch today. I had the lemon ricotta ravoili with chicken broth with sauteed shallots, spinach and red peppers, with a side mixed green salad. My husband's hamburger was really good, served on a rustic bun with a nice aoli sauce and mixed green side salad.

Both meals were really good, it tasted true and fresh. Wanted to try their baked goods, but they were put much gone by noon. We'll go again when we're in the area.

Be aware street parking is a challenge, but there is a public parking lot across the street from the cafe. The cafe is a locale's spot that has indoor and outdoor area. The service was very good

This delightful 'period' building houses a gem of a restaurant in Emeryville, the Bay Area's hidden gem location. The food, which is fresh, healthy, creative and flavorful, is served by knowledgeable, friendly staff in a really cool industrial but light setting. Amazing pastries, best croissants and scones I have had. Breakfast has lovely and healthy offerings, and their bread is just a joy.

Ate brunch here, and it was great. The lemon ricotta pancakes are delish!
