My husband and I were extremely pleased with our decision to stay at the Blue Butterfly Inn. Liz and Ron were great host and provided great hospitality. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the family type atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this B&B and look forward to staying there again.

Room Tip: We loved the very top floor which is where we stayed. Is very private with a wrap around balcony. Th...

We enjoyed our stay at this B&B and would gladly return in the future. Ron and Liz were very accommodating, the house was in great shape and the location was perfect. We enjoyed the breakfasts and socializing with the other guests. Lots of hummingbirds to share the setting with as well! The restaurant at the lodge next door was perfect for dinner after a long day of hiking. Our three night stay was phenomenal and unforgettable.

We decided to visit Yosemite on our honeymoon trip from San Francisco to Las Vegas. We were unsure whether to book a smaller B&B or stick with the larger Hotels. Following our stay we were extremely pleased that we choose to stay at the Butterfly Inn.

The attention and hospitality of the owners was exceptional and a delight compared to the larger hotel chains that we stayed in during our holiday.

The room was large, had a great balcony, and the decor was of the highest standard and very stylist. Breakfast was freshly made and a great start to the day.

The advice from the owners was rewarding because we only had one full day in the Park and it was enjoyable to hear of their stories and experiences.

We highly recommend and would definately consider come back.

Outstanding B&B, beautiful quiet spacious room and deck overlooking the river, very friendly and helpful hosts. Very close to the park entrance, can't beat the location. We stayed in the Lotus room - art deco, huge and quiet. Unfortunately can't speak to the breakfast as we had to get an early start. Would have loved to stay longer.

What is to say about the Yosemite Blue Butterfly Inn that hasn't already been said. First and foremost I must praise the wonderful hosts Ron and Liz. They make you feel at home and go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one! The stories, the book resources for the park and their own experience at Yosemite National Park are priceless. Breakfast on the deck is one of those experiences unlike no other in any other B&B we've stayed in. The bread that accompanies each breakfast is superb! We stayed on the ground floor and loved our rooms: airy, comfortable and with just the right amenities.

Room Tip: Be sure to book early. We got our rooms 10 months ahead of our arrival date. Those were the last 2 r...

The Blue Butterfly B&B made our Yosemite visit! Ron and Liz, the hosts, were gracious, interesting and helpful. But, I get ahead of myself: when you walk in the door the first thing you notice is that their home is immaculately clean and orderly. The second thing you note is how nice and friendly they are! We spent 6 nights there and had a wonderful experience. The location is great, the place is great, Ron and Liz are great and I rate this B&B as SUPERIOR in every regard!

Room Tip: All of the rooms are good.

Tucked next to the rushing Merced river this stunning B&B was just perfect for our Yosemite stay. Liz and Ron gave us excellent advice on hikes, areas of intrest and shared stories of building the Inn, Ron's climbing adventures and Liz's stunning stained glass designs. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and filling served on the deck overlooking the river. Fresh baked cookies and afternoon tea while enjoying wonderful conversation with the international guests was a real treat. Highly recommended!
