“Very high quality”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2013

My wife and I shared a very high quality potato leek soup. They do a very good job on soup. I always enjoy their roasted vegetable sandwich. The potato salad side included some green beans. It had red skin potatoes. Definitely a food salad, and not an empty calorie bomb. Their desserts are always awesome.

“A Little Bit of Gourmet Off the Beaten Path”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 18, 2013

First enjoyed their boxed picnic lunches during a vineyard hike at Boeger Winery. These perfect little boxes come with a gourmet sandwich, a lovely slice of brie, a tasty potato salad and a yummy cookie AND tart! A few weeks later we stopped in their very cute restaurant to buy lunches to bring on a picnic in one of the nearby wineries. The place looks pretty trendy for its location in Diamond Springs! I would certainly dine-in as well. I heard quite a few people talking about their Paella being outstanding. Will definitely be back to try more of their culinary creations!

I learned about this place through word of mouth. I'm so glad I did! The food was fantastic. We ordered the pork loin and red potatoes. Very friendly staff and outstanding food.

“A Definite Find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2013

This tiny restaurant has it all. The food is unbelieavably fantastic. The service is top-notch. Sam is wonderful. The place is unpretentious. It's casual and is the kind of place where you want to meet friends and have an excellent meal and some wine. We had heard great things about Allez, and decided it was time we tried it. I had the cassoulet, which was a special that night, and my wife had coq au vin. Both entrees were off-the-charts good. The cassoulet was loaded with sausage, duck, lamb and of course, white beans. Incredible. The coq was served with a side of garlic mashed potatoes, which was perfect for sopping up the the delicious gravy. There were chunks of tender chicken, carrots and small pearly onions. Just a perfect combination of flavors. Who would have thought there would be a French bistro in Diamond Springs this good? We sure didn't, but we are now believers. It is a place where you want to be a regular. The prices are reasonable, even the wine prices are extremely affordable. Great food at a great price with excellent service. That says it all.

“Great Lunch Stop”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

Been here twice now for Lunch on the way to Tahoe. Great service and Food. Really nice to sit outside on a warm day (can have the Dog out of the Car and by the Table for fresh air). Hopefully, they can now serve Alcohol outside (waiting for license) and will find out this week when we stop by again. Great Pastries also. Will try some food to go this time so we don't have to cook when we get to the Cabin. Worth the side trip off the Hwy.
