Our visit did not start off well. The person who greeted handed us a package of material, told us virtually nothing about the park and sent us off with a "ranger" to our spot. Unfortunately it already had an RV in it. He had to radio back to the office and they put us in one across the road which had not been cleaned. The RV site was small and with the slide out there was barely room to sit beside the trailer.

We stayed in the lower part of the park where sites are smaller. Ask to stay on the larger sites in the upper part of the park.

Wifi is not included and is a charge per night or week per device. We paid for the regular wifi and it was very slow. We have paid less or nothing at all in other parks for much better wifi.

On the positive side it was end of season and we only paid $22.50 per night. The washrooms and showers are lovely and well kept. The ranger was very helpful.

DO NOT PAY FOR YOUR SPACE IN ADVANCE! If you get sick and have to leave (like we did) they refuse to refund your money. Is this even legal??We have been coming here for about 4 years and even purchased a membership but we will NEVER go back! The staff here is VERY unhappy. The new owner must be a real drag. Extra charges for EVERYTHING and nothing is posted in their office or "newsletter" Who has to pay for WIFI?? And theirs didn't even work! All the extras are posted as ACTIVITIES but they charge for everything!! YOGA in the pool for $20 when you are already spending $50/night to stay! We arrived at the upper dining room for a concert that was not posted as anything but an" activity" and we were asked for our TICKETS! How embarrassing as we did not even bring any $$ with us. I understand paying for the dinners but when a resort offers perks for the patrons you don't expect to have to pay for them. After all the renovations they did here it is too bad they didn't hire good people who truly CARE about their patrons. Very disappointing. Perhaps the new WORKCAMPERS need a pep talk. We asked a male in a golf cart for help twice for help and he had no clue and rudely kept chatting with another worker right in front of us. As another reviewer mentioned, there are no tables at the sites and they are all dirt with very little paved areas. New this year is that they ASSIGN you a spot, even though there are many that are empty. When we stayed there (March 2018) they had a RV SHOW going on there for 5 days and they closed of most of the lower area close to the pool to accommodate all the RV's brought in. No one was there with the RV's and I didn't see anyone interested in viewing them yet they took up all the places that guests would stay. Needless to stay our 15 hour drive to Desert Hot Springs was a major disappointment..

We had booked for 7 nights and only stayed one despite their non refund policy! The pictures on their web site don't show the truth...at all. It's more like a large SANDY parking lot with very little space for anything. We travel with a small rv and couldn't find a way to level it because of all the sand...and we were charged extra to be on the upper side of the park, can't imagine the lower. The pool on their website with the falls...not like that At All. No picnic tables, no wifi unless you pay and even then. Not even data service yet the information they give you at check in all refers you to online:). Frankly, this is our first time writing negative review but felt it was worth it to warn other travellers. There is MUCH better out there!

Very reasonably priced RV Park. Great staff. 20-30 minutes drive to great shopping and restaurants in Palm Springs and Palm Desert. Lots of activities and games during the winter ‘season’. I would stay here again.

We only stayed for 4 nights but enjoyed our time at Catalina Spa. There were plenty of activities but during our short stay we didn't participate. The laundry room was clean, but the one I used at the back of the park is accessed from the poolside. There is a gate with code but the area is not fenced. Sites are adequate, but not large and are sandy with a very small paved vehicle parking area. An RV mat is a good idea. The park offers Passport America but not all months. No free internet - it is available, but on a pay per device system. No cable.
