Had a conference to attend in LA Quinta but the room prices were high. Got an email from Travel Zoo offering $59 night at Aqua Soleil. Took a chance and was greatly surprised! Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff was amazingly pleasant. 2 mineral water Jacuzzis and a heated mineral water pool. This is not the 4 Seasons so don't come looking for such. This is a great place to relax, unwind, forget about LA! I just wanted to stay poolside instead of attending the conference. Already made reservations to return. This will become my weekend getaway place!

I have stayed in other hotels in the area.
The room itself was fairly small for the price and the furniture very chepside-not what one expects at over $200 a night. The bathroom was alos extrememly small.
The attraction here is the private pool connected to the room which was very nice.
Again for the money we paid the ppol was nice but I am not sure I would choose this type of room again due to the cost.

Hi, BBrookline. Thank you for your feedback on the Soleil Suite in which you stayed during your stay. You are indeed right, the greatest appeal involving these rooms are the private, jetted mineral water pools. We do offer very attractive weekday rates that are considerably under $200. Weekend/Holiday rates are always higher due to the demand for these rooms. Please know that we greatly appreciate your business and do hope to see you back again!

Supposed to be one of the better value places in DHS. The premises aren't too bad but 2 wings of the hotel (it is a big square or rectangle complex completely enclosing the pool area) are old style with the only windows in the rooms facing into the common external corridor so there will be privacy issues (rooms are a bit dark too). Some rooms on some wings have verandahs but these may be exposed to the wind (quite relentless at times) and traffic noise if out front.

Rooms have been renovated inside but there is unfortunately a lot of wear 'n tear on the surfaces already. Rough treatment by the guests? Rooms are actually quite big but lots of wasted space that makes the room feel smaller. Bathrooms are nice (showers only but the stalls are big). Beds are comfortable enough (not firm but not too soft/saggy either)

As for going only when it's cool, the room A/C and ventilation may be difficult to live with. The fan doesn't stay on when the compressor kicks off so the room may get a little stifling until it kicks on again. You are told/asked not to set the temp below 21C/70F.

There are 3 pools. 2 biggish hot tub areas and 1 warm pool which is very large. Nice for soaking but the water is of course rather chlorinated.

Be aware that the in-house restaurant is only open on weekends but there are nice options closeby, even within walking distance.

Very nice room with two queen beds, a nice bath with separate clothing and makeup area, very nice artwork and bright walls. My niece and I enjoyed our two night stay. The pool is large and the two spas were very nice. One spa was inside a gazebo with sliding glass doors so when it got windy as the desert is won't to do, you could close it up and be cozy.I booked a special deal through hotels.Com and it was a steal to stay here.

Room tip: West facing rooms were away from pool and jacuzzi areas so no noises could be heard from there.

We went with this hotel because it is family friendly. It could be a gem but it needs a bit revamping. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The overall appearance of the outside of the hotel is a bit rundown and really is dated. The pool was nice and clean. The hot tubs were also nice but a bit run down. The hotel staff that I spoke with were always friendly. Kids really enjoyed it there. They have a nice bar and restaurant but it is only open specific hours which is a let down because the food was quit good. Over all it made for a great time with the family.

Room tip: Make sure you ask for a newly remodeled room.

Hi, Leanne. Thank you for your feedback. We are delighted to hear that, overall, you enjoyed your stay. We are constantly working to upgrade property, with much of our recent efforts focused on the remodeling of our guest rooms and the Kafe Bar, our onsite restaurant and bar. It is time to turn a bit more of our attention to the exterior areas. We do appreciate your feedback in this regard, as it helps us to identify the areas where we're doing well and others where we need to do some work. Please know that we are grateful for your business, Leanne, and we do hope to see you back again soon.
