Hope Springs is a delightful oasis - true to its mid-century modern roots, yet totally modern in its comforts.

The resort is beautifully maintained, the landscaping and pools are marvelous, the rooms meticulous and breakfasts delightful. Highly recommend.

this is a beautiful, tasteful, quiet place, everything is harmonious. Some rooms have attached kitchens so that you can cook a meal whenever you feel like it. There is also a common kitchen with barbecue ! A perfect getaway, 15 minutes out of Palm Springs.

Room Tip: all the rooms give out on the pool and two jacouzis - all good

Hope Springs is a quiet, calm oasis in the desert. The property is beautifully kept with gorgeous desert landscaping; the rooms are clean, calm and quiet with everything you need and nothing you don't (i.e. no televisions, no phones). Rooms with a kitchen come stocked with everything you'll need to cook meals for two (honestly, everything - even non-essential essentials, like a microplane, were stocked). Nancy's breakfast each morning is delicious and thoughtfully presented; lunch and dinner can be prepared in your kitchenette or in the communal kitchen and three-burner gas grill. We stayed for three nights and felt completely relaxed and transformed. Thank you Nancy, Thomas, Hector and Carbon!

I've stayed at this lovely resort about 8 times over the years and each time it has been a wonderful experience. The rooms are spacious and bare. The pools and beautiful garden area is so relaxing to linger in. Breakfast is delicious, the coffee first rate,...I always look forward to coming back. p.s. there is an italian restaurant up the road that makes a mean scampi.

Honestly, we booked Hope Springs because we liked the Mid-century Modern look of the place. We got a whole lot more. To begin, it's small, just 10 rooms, which are rather spartan. But it feels like an oasis, a center of calm and a grown-up getaway. The hostess, Nancy, makes a very nice breakfast. We rather liked the three pools of varying temperature. A few things to consider: The place isn't fancy, and makes no pretense of being so. Desert Hot Springs isn't much of a town, and there's not whole lot to do there. (We do strongly recommend Casa Blanca for Mexican food.) But the town is convenient to some excellent hiking -- the Mission Creek and Whitewater preserves in particular -- and Palm Springs is less than 30 minutes away. In short, Hope Springs is a low-key winner, a place we'll return to soon, I hope.
