Just a wonderful place to sit in a chair or on a blanket and watch people or the ocean. In summer they have community concerts from 6-9 P.M. on Tues. or Wed. (you can check locally). This park was a very charming small park with a nice restaurant adjacent and plenty of space for kids and dogs to run.

I loved this park so much on our last family vacation to the San Diego area. I was looking for a kid-friendly beach and this park has it all----a play area, grassy area for picnics and more, and the beach! I hate being at a beach and feeling stuck, which is how I feel at Coronado beach. This park will be a stop for us each time we come to San Diego from now on.

Love the area, close to town but still an enjoyable park. Great location for taking pictures and soaking up the sun. Very diverse crowd. Nice place for a picnic

This has got to be one of the nicest parks I've been to. Just to sit and watch the sunset or people watch could last hours and never tire of it. There's just something special about watching the sunset on the west coast!!

Seagrove Park is a casual, family-oriented grass park on the cliffs above a lovely swimming beach. Free concerts on summer evenings. Always lots of picnicking families, dog walkers, and sunset watchers. Wonderful.
Parking can be hard to find on the street during the summer. There's a lot across from the park, which is super convenient but expensive ($5/hour). Less expensive underground lot beneath L'Auberge Hotel, bring quarters for the meters there.
