Ostrich burgers, made by hand, milkshakes of every flavor like old-time soda shops, this place is the real deal if you remember what burger places used to be like before McDonald's and In-N-Out.  Everything here is great!  Yes, they have beef also

“Used to be better”
Reviewed December 22, 2011

The Redrum used to be Murder Burger. It was always good, but over the years has suffered and the quality (not quantity) has gone downhill. The best thing though are their homemade milk shakes. You can't get a better one anywhere.

“Fresh, Juicy, Made To Order”
Reviewed March 22, 2011

If you have a serious burger craving, or even if you don't, I can't imagine going to a chain over Redrum Burger. Yes, it takes a little longer to receive your order than at a chain, because the burgers are FRESH and MADE TO ORDER! If you don't feel like red meat, Redrum offers a variety of grilled chicken sandwiches, vegetarian offerings and alternates like buffalo and ostrich. I happen to love the variety of mayonnaise flavors, like garlic, available for burgers. Four of my picky, burger loving, male relatives have declared it their favorite independent burger place. Redrum Burger is right off of Hwy. 80. I highly recommend giving it a try.

“If you have the time, chose this over your chain burgers!”
Reviewed October 29, 2010

Ironically directly across from the Davis Inn-N-Out - which makes it a tough choice - Redrum Burger is there for you. You might easily miss it if you had not heard about it.

This is by no means a chain-burger restaurant; your order is always made fresh and you get the probably juiciest Burgers around.
Lots of choices as well, and serving sizes are HUGE. Shakes are cool as well! It has an old-fashionned touch and it smelled a bit musty the first time I went there - but the food was worth any wait!

“Murder backwards”
Reviewed August 26, 2010

this restaruant was called Murder Burger and the owner Jim Edlund the owner changed the name not because of the protests but beacause he was cheap. The original owner who had the rights to the name wanted a pretty penny of about $150,000 for the name. Mr. Edlund didn't want to pay up so he changed the name to REDRUM BURGER. The name was not his idea. The had this lame contest to see who can come up with the best name for the restaruant and what better name than MURDER backwards. So thats the story. Cheers
