A friend of mine showed me this place not too long ago and I have been back a few times since. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Food is extremely fresh and very tasty. It's a little expensive but the sushi is very good in my opinion. The Baja California roll and the dragon roll were probably my favorite thus far, and the salmon sushi is extremely good. Certainly worth trying if you have not tried before.

We've visited this restaurant several times over the past year and have backed off of going because the bill is always higher than we anticipate. The sushi is fresh but any substitutions or additions are pricey. Their Happy Hour offers specials if you are not too hungry, but sushi, a drink and appetizer will run you over $15 and you will still be hungry. The Bento boxes give plenty of food, but the BBQ beef is very fatty. Stick with the chicken teriyaki, it's better quality and you will end up eating more of it. The bacon-wrapped asparagus is good, although the bacon is also fatty.
Do yourself a favor and get the white chocolate caramel apple for dessert. It's filling and a real winner for $8. We always end up paying $45-50 for two people (without alcoholic drinks) and don't feel it's a great value for the money so be careful if you go with kids or are on a budget.

We just had the best meal here Saturday night! My husband had the shrimp & vegetable tempura which came with miso soup & brown rice, we added a spring mix salad for an xtra $3. I had the BBQ pork with tempura which came with a European type lettuce salad and brown rice (which is a mixture of wild and brown and better than any brown rice we have ever had!). The tempura was so awesome. Lightly breaded and every vegetable was cooked perfect & not over done. We also had the garlic edamame for our appetizer, so delish. First time having edamame and so we found out you eat these kind of like an you eat an artichoke leaf. They have a 3 sake sampler for only $10 which is just so cool and is not just shots, but good portions. Just the way everything is presented makes me hungry thinking about it. Also, this restaurant is spotless. The cleanest restaurant we have ever seen. The entire staff was welcoming and fresh. Happy to serve us & our waiter (Johnny) was fantastic. Amazingly knowledgeable as well, especially for being so young. The manager gave a traditional Japanese bow as we left. We had four Sakes each and all the above mentioned food and our bill total, including tip was only $74. That is a bargain in my book. We normally spend $125 or more for the similar evening meal & drinks. Can't wait to go back!

Hearing this glowing feedback is more rewarding than you know. We've worked very hard to provide the most traditional Japanese dining experience in the area, so it makes me happy to hear that we've hit our mark. Thanks for the support here on TripAdvisor. I hope you'll stop in and visit us again soon.

All the best,
Jun, Owner
