“Delicious healthy food doesn't get better than this!”

Wow! The buckwheat pizza with pesto, basil and arrugula was off the charts yummy. We chose our own ingredients but the featured pizzas looked great too. There is indoor and outdoor seating, the food, juices and smoothies are healthy and very tasty, and the servers were really warm and helpful. I will be back again and again because it doesn't get much better than this. This is a great place for gluten-free folks like me, and everyone else that doesn't need meat to feel complete! BTW their brunch menu looks spectacular - coming back for that.

“To live for!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 20, 2014

Perfect location with outdoor shaded and sunny seating, next to a Wholefoods, easy parking. Awesome factory-vibe interior, super clean. The staff are just the sweetest thing, especially when they're rooting on their team. Came for a World Cup match having been told the had a tv. They did, and the communal table in front of it was empty so we took it.

Raw vegan ice creams and other delightful confections greet you as you step inside. The gluten free vegan pizza is divine, and so is the BLT (no meat, of course.) So many delicious Lunch and Brunch choices! The tastes were incredible, you could hardly believe it was healthy! Felt like we were doing something wrong, binging on our lifestyle, but we totally weren't.

Another plus is that they have enough toilets - two for each gender - unlike most places.

Visit, or go to the one in Echo Park instead, either location will put a smile on your face!

“A MUST visit when you're in LA...vegan, vegetarian or not!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 4, 2014

And yet ANOTHER brilliant plant-based restaurant to try in LA!! Easy to find, with free parking too! Outside seating is available but was pretty crowded when we went inspite of the cool temps.

Very trendy decor on the inside. Menu listed a lot of tempting options, but I went with the Coconut Curry. Paired it with a delicious Brunehaut Amber Ale. Excellent combination! Prices maybe a tad higher than other places like Native Foods, but only by a few dollars. Waiter was very good! Finished off some desserts including a vegan banana split (GORGEOUS!) and a vegan milkshake (Also tasty!)

Recommend everyone check it out when in LA whether plant-based (or not) or GF (or not)

“happening vegan”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 20, 2014 credit card Amex Card Member Review

Have enjoyed two dinners here and really like the beer selection as well as the inventive vegan dishes -- good mix of transitional vegan food as well as comfort food. This place is usually hopping and busy, so service can be a bit slow (what's the rush anyway). I met the owner Molly on my first visit and she is super conscientious and really working to make Sage a special place.

“Amazing. 4x in 2 days!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2013

This was by far the best vegan restaurant that we visited during our time in the LA area.

Appetizers of fried rice balls and spinach dip were both full of flavour and were more than ample portion sizes. Entrees we had were the Tuna Melt (omg...so good!), the Reuben (delicious!), the butternut squash ravioli (full of flavour), and the falafel bowl (unbelievably tasty!). My favourite was the BLTA pizza, which was so good that I had it twice.

Oh...we had brunch too! Walnut sausage florentine?! It was as if heaven was served on a plate...it was THAT delicious!

The restaurant was incredibly clean, and the service was fantastic. If it werent, we likely wouldn't have gone four times during our 3 days in LA... :)
