We were a family of 4 staying for 1 night, but wished it could have been for longer!
The service here is superb. We were upgraded to a room with jacuzzi, & a separate area for the kids (bunk beds, own TV). Plus, we were given a small box of chocolates & a half price beer voucher. All this with a smile & offers of any help, too!
The bed was big & very comfortable, a fridge & microwave in the large room.
Our children gave the indoor pool a definite thumbs up.
The hotel is behind a car wash, but we weren't disturbed by this, only some motor cyclists having to rev their machines to maximum whilst making an early departure from the hotel did this...
We didn't use the restaurant at the hotel, but wished we had as our experience at Perrys Italian Café wasn't good.
We'd all love to go back here, and indeed Mammoth Lakes as there was lots to do & we could only fit in the trip to Devils Postpile (recommended).

Nice place that we stayed at for one night after our journey through Yosemite on our way to Death Valley.

The hotel is not far from the highway but you’ll have to keep a sharp eye out for it as you’ll easily pass it. We did and found it located just behind the main street. There is plenty of free parking and we were checked in very quickly. In fact, our room was already assigned and the room keys were waiting for us. We were helped by a very friendly and enthusiastic front desk clerk.

Our room was fine and looked like it was recently renovated. The bathroom contained a shower and toilet but the sink was located outside of that in the room itself. That’s handy as one can use the sink while someone else showers. We also had a mini fridge. The bad part was that there are not many elevators here and it can be quite a long walk from there to your room. We found ourselves in that situation.

There is a pool here which was a bit small but thankfully no one was in there when we arrived with the kids. The hotel is well maintained and it was clear to me that this is pretty much used in the winter when skiers arrive from Los Angeles. That being said, the parking is covered with winter in mind.

There is a small restaurant here which we did not eat at so I cannot rate that. Across the road are a few nice places to eat and a mini outlet mall. The Italian place was excellent and is recommended.

We were checked out quickly and were fast on our way. As I said, this town is really a winter destination and it must be beautiful there during that time of the year. It was nice in the summer but the town is definitely quieter then and you’ll get bored in a hurry if you are staying longer than one night.

We enjoyed our one night stay and it allowed us to refresh and recharge our batteries after a trip through Yosemite. There's not many hotels in this town to choose from so this is probably your best bet. If traveling there in winter, book early as it appears this place will book up fast.

Certainly not the best Holiday Inn I have stayed in -Gold Card Member. No business center, dreadful food (didn't dine there but menu awful and breakfast indifferent). Location good but they didn't build the mountains. Staff Ok but did not shine - rather indifferent to guests.

There aren't much bad things that we can tell about the hotel.
Nice looking and spacious lobby.
Location is perfect, just across the road to a small shopping center.
Room was above average, checkin went swiftly.
The pool should have been open air, or maybe a combination of open air and indoor. To us, that is. But we knew that upfront.
Free wifi in the room, ample parking, all OK

When i reviewed the drive for the next day i noticed an error and had to do it over again and print it.
Printing was not available at the front desk, we should go to the internet shop across the street early next day.
Because of our early departure, that was not an option but even if i had to pay for it, i would have them print it for me.
I had it on a memory stick; so why is it so hard to print 2 pieces of paper to satisfy a guest?

To me, that means a lack of comprehension and service towards your guests. Service is something that is inside you, or company policy. Pointing at others isn't. If we would decide to go back, i'd choose another hotel.

Can't fault this hotel, the staff were extremely helpful, the hotel was spotless - inside and outside of our room. Beds were very comfortable - wished we had stayed longer, if we go back to Mammoth Lakes - we will.

There is nothing negative to say about this hotel except that there is no free breakfast. The pool area is indoors, which is nice. The rooms are clean and up-to-date. The whole hotel is kept in tip-top condition. There is even a nice little bar in the building with a pool and ping-pong table. Juan was the bar tender at the time and deserves a good tip if he's on duty. We only stayed on night but wished we had stayed longer. If you're visiting Yosemite you should drive all the way through on 120 as I thought that part was much cooler than the valley. This hotel was about 15-20 minutes from the bottom of the mountain that you descend heading out of the park.

Stayed overnight at this Holiday Inn en-route to Yosemite. I wasn't expecting much but was very disappointed with what we received.

The room had a really old musty smell but the bathroom was the worst. It looked clean enough but it just smelt really musty and mouldy. I couldn't bear spending much time in there.

The room just looks very tired and unwelcoming. It's very dated.

We did like the provision of a fridge and also the free wireless internet.

But we really looked forward to leaving. Wouldn't have stayed there for a second night and certainly won't stay there again.
