Owner description: Lake Gregory stands amid a cool cedar and pine forest in the San Bernardino Mountains. But don’t let the pastoral setting fool you - the park teems with activity throughout the year as nature lovers converge for a wide range of recreational activities.People flock to Lake Gregory to enjoy its cool 84-acres of surface area for swimming and water sports. Each August, a 2,500-year-old Chinese tradition comes alive at Lake Gregory in the form of Dragon Boat Races. The elongated canoes seat 12 to 20 people, and a drummer beats a cadence to set a pace for the paddlers.Other activities include a fitness trail with exercise stations, picnic areas with barbecue grills, fishing, a skate park and model boat area. Four-legged friends are welcome at Lake Gregory’s dog park. The park lodge is available for events ranging from weddings to company parties.

We rented a small cabin and went to the lake all day. We have 4 children and they loved the water slide and the lake. The lake was clean, and swimming in it wasn't gross. The town was nice, but a bit crowded. There's also a jogging path around the lake that was fun. All in all, it was a great way to have a cheap vacation!

A nice size lake for fishing, swimming and boating. This is an ideal lake for families. In fact I don't think anyone else would like it but famiies with children, handicapped people or much older adults (because it is so easy to access). Very clean water on the swim beach side. On the fishing side it is clean but more plant life and rocks exist. They rent long boards to paddle out on the lake on, kayaks, paddle boats, small fishing boats. It was very windy when we were there on the fishing end but the swim beach was much more calm. They were having a sandcastle building contast that day. It is idealic for families. Super clean! $3.00 entry fee. Well worth it for how well they keep up the place. Picnic tables, restrooms, showers, tiny town with lots of cafes and shops all within walking distance. Wish we had found this gem when our teenagers were younger!
