Owner description: Lake Gregory stands amid a cool cedar and pine forest in the San Bernardino Mountains. But don’t let the pastoral setting fool you - the park teems with activity throughout the year as nature lovers converge for a wide range of recreational activities.People flock to Lake Gregory to enjoy its cool 84-acres of surface area for swimming and water sports. Each August, a 2,500-year-old Chinese tradition comes alive at Lake Gregory in the form of Dragon Boat Races. The elongated canoes seat 12 to 20 people, and a drummer beats a cadence to set a pace for the paddlers.Other activities include a fitness trail with exercise stations, picnic areas with barbecue grills, fishing, a skate park and model boat area. Four-legged friends are welcome at Lake Gregory’s dog park. The park lodge is available for events ranging from weddings to company parties.

They shut down when it sprinkled in the afternoon and never reopened. Very disappointing. We went back the next day. Waterslides okay fun, but lines unnecessarily slow and kids got frustrated. Lots of rule mongers, fat kids and even fatter parents and smog. Good sandwiches at the snack bar.

I've been here several times. Its a nice day get away from Los Angeles. I scenic drive takes you to this small lake. You can swim, rent a kayak (you cant launch your own water toys), fish and laze about. I personally enjoy the great views from hiking around the lake which seems a little more than a mile or so. Enjoy a lunch at McDonald's or several local eateries. Lake Arrowhead is not too far away.

We ended up not going. But they do have lifeguards on duty. Access to the water is limited on weekdays. On weekends access to the water is greater because of more staff.

The lake is beautiful and has a great trail that goes all the way around the lake. It's long enough to be worth while but still mild intensity if your not really looking for a challenge.

I love this lake! Not crowded, no fees. The locals are welcoming. There is not one thing to dislike about Lake Gregory!
