We visited the restaraunt on friday 14 june. Friends food(sea bass) was great. Curries were nice. Mine, A simple pie with potato and gravy inedible. The gravy was so salty it made the dish unpalatable.

Marriot Rayong... Good For Some Things.

First impressions are it's a good looking hotel and the land size is very big. Everyone from the car parking attendant, the porter, to the receptionist was very pleasant.

The check in was quick and efficient and the room was clean and seemed larger than normal... it must be the very contemporary layout. In the room, I must say, we didn't get a lot in our eats & drinks bar, considering what we were paying.

The Fish Bar is quite good for cocktails, dinner and drinks. My partner and I particularly like the Tom Yum Talay (pic) and the plain old Thai Stir Fried Vegetables in Oyster Sauce.

When we got back to our room, I will say that the walls were too thin. We could hear the neighbors movements but not there voices. Not really good if you get noisy neighbors.

The breakfast buffet and the coffee is OK.

Anyway, it was good for some things and not good for others.

It is just one of many hotels in the Rayong District to try.

Room tip: Get a sea view room.

Coastal escape

It was such a wonderful resort where we were fulfilled with serenity and excellent services. We booked Deluxe Ocean View room type and was upgraded to high floor. Room was spacious and we did love sofa bed that we lay down and watched sunset in room. Pool was so huge that we spent hours to swim around. The highlight was breakfast buffet. I loved them all especially detox juice station. We’d recommend for one who is looking for coastal escape from city.

Perfect family resort!

I’m so impressed by the service I got from the staff. I stayed for only 2 nights 3 days with my daughter and partner but wished we stayed longer. Big thank you to Jee, Chompoo and Bukea for looking after us specially paying attention to my partners allergies. Thank you Fon and Lookjan for making us fabulous drinks at the bar and for finding colouring sheets for my daughter. She absolutely loved it and the kids club too.

The room, food and drinks are all reasonable price. The resort has its own private beach which I love, 2 big swimming pool and a fish bar.

I would definitely be coming back again next year. Absolutely loved it.

Wonderful in every way

Me and my partner have travelled across Thailand but this place is up there with the best. The food and drink selections were amazing (and very reasonably priced); the hotel design and rooms were lovely and the staff constantly went the extra mile for us. This place is 5 star through and through, for a great price. Big thanks in particular to Chompoo, Fon, Jee, Bukea and Jan for their hospitality.
