A stay at cloud farm is lovely for anyone who is looking for peace quiet, and lovely walks. It is a fairly basic camp, but everything you need is there, the hosts work extremely hard, from cleaning, maintenence, serving in the shop, but still find time for a friendly chat. There are no `do not` notices everywhere, and the dogs do not have to be on leads, a lovely relaxed atmosphere, in a lovely location. I would certainly return, and if it is too cold for camping, then a stay in the s/c accomodation would be just right.

Cloud farm was a lovely spot to camp, we walked the coastal path from lynmouth to cloud farm, staff were very friendly and helpful, and even though the showers were unisex curtains sectioned off fine and the showers were nice and powerful, well needed after a long walk, a basic site but very very pretty,we were able to choose anywhere to pitch our tent, i would recommend.

This is now one of my favourite campsites in the UK. The shower facilities were poor but that is my only criticism. We chose a raised spot looking down over the river and along the valley. There are stunning walks in both directions and I also liked not having to tether my dog (he is well behaved and only needs it when the rules specify). Getting to the site down tiny lanes and then the farm track only added to the blissful isolation of the place. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners who also sold cooked food and home made scones. Definately worth another visit.

We stayed as a big group consisting of couples and kids, the turn up and pitch was a bit of a concern for the large group, however if your prepared to travel early and arrive before lunch you get a better spot. Located in the Doone Valley along the stream, it is very picturesque and the walk up the paths either side of the valley you get a wonderful view of the campsite. The facilities were what you would expect for the price you pay, but they were always clean.

The most perfect place and relaxed owners with no fixed pitches, cream teas and takeaway meals! however despite the great location the relaxed attitude of the owners extended the facilities, inadequate toilets considering the amount of people and bizarre shower arrangements. Have been here twice before but would think of going elsewhere considering the price per person per night.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Very laid back campsite in a beautiful setting. Kids lived playing in the river and we were able to have a camp fire every evening. The only thing that lets this campsite down is the facilities. Only a few toilets and showers for a lot of campers. The chap that runs the campsite was lovely and friendly but seemed to have his work cut out keeping things clean. Overall this is definitely somewhere I would return to as, although the facilities were below par, the beautiful location, laid back feel and value makes up for this.

Went there for 1 night only. The campsite is varied with different levels. It has all the necessary facilities, although basic. The cafe is a bonus as it actually provides good coffee/tea.

The river can be very loud if you're a light sleeper, but it's very beautiful and kids can play in the water and surrounding forest.

The staff are very friendly and helpful.
