Sit outside, its really lovely area. Their steaks are really good, but also salads and other appetizers are nice.

“Will keep coming back”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

I have been here 4 times in the past year. I love this place. The empanadas are fantastic as are the bocaditos and ceviche for appetizers. The Puerco Primo (Slow Roasted pork) and the steak Churasco (skirt steak) were fantastic. The drinks are also winners, mojitos and Caipirinha (Brazil's national drink) are tasty and can be strong (but not too strong). You really can't go wrong here. Its in a place called " The anti-Mall. parking can be limited.

“Delicious Cuban Food in Artsy & Upscale Area”
Reviewed June 17, 2013

This was our 1st time tasting Cuban cuisine & we didn't know exactly what to expect but the dishes were excellent, both the meat & vegetarian fares. The decor was rustic & fit in perfectly with the small complex the restaurant is located in (which had an artistic feel to it); the lunch crowd had a mix of corporate & casual patrons. Parking is free but the parking lot was not large & it's not very obvious to locate this place (although off a main street) so it's recommended to get direction prior to coming or check it on your GPS 1st.

“I expect good Cuban food in Miami, great to have one in SoCal.”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

I love Cuban food, which is not always easy to find. Any place that serves up a good Ropa Vieja will win me over all the time, especially when they have a good hot sauce to accompany it as let's face it Cuban food is never spicy. The beans were good and the plantain was perfectly ripe and well cooked as a side. We started with an appetizer of steamers which were pretty tastey, and tried both of their sangrias which were not too sweet as is often the case. The skirt steak that my companion had was similarly a winner. All in all a nice change from typical California cuisine.
