“A little bit of Casablanca in the OC”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 1, 2012

Not everyone in my circle of friends likes this place, but I do. It's fun to have your hands washed, sit near the floor, and eat with your hands and watch belly dancers. It just is.

“A mini vacation to an exotic place with great food and fun atmosphere!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2010

We've had two experiences with Marrakesh. We ate there once and just loved it, the atmosphere is fun and exotic, the food is, frankly, quite amazing and the service great. The belly dancer was not too pushy, not too sexy, but just plain fun. This is quite the experience. Short of a long plane ride to Morrocco, this is a fun trip away from daily living. Our second experience was when I used their catering service for a big party. They were wonderful to work with, provided even attractive serving baskets, dishes, etc. Everything arrived hot, ready to go and the servers set up the whole buffet. Everyone had a marvelous time and they even helped me select a belly dancer for the event. Now I'm looking forward to returning for my birthday with a bunch of friends and a mini morroccan getaway for a night. They could use a website that better depicts what they do.

“Unique Moroccan Dining Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2009

If your looking for an overall awesome Morocco Experience..this is the place. A unique Experience. From the Belly Dancer (who's been there forever), to the best Mint Tea, delicious Quail (if you've never had it before, it's a must here) and the Atmosphere is Great...make sure to request "Tent Seating" to get the full experience. It's a great place to go for big occasions with a big group so you can request a Tent all to yourselves...very private and personal. It's my favorite restaurant in O.C. BUT I have to admit that sometimes the timely service can be a bit annoying...just make sure to order two drinks at a time since their Alcoholic Drinks are STRONG they make up for the wait and expect to spend a good 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. =) An experience you don't want to miss!
